Apartment was in a great location for us. Well supplied in kitchen for dishes and cooking. Grocery store a block away which we found reasonable (Sainsburys) to help cut cost of food. Tube close by as well. Just as described.

Right size, right place..."cosy" means "smallish". The dreadful heatwave in London did not help. I met a very nice lady straight away that showed me everything. It could do with a proper fixed closet, a full length mirror and some better chairs to sit at the table properly. The bed was comfortable, hot water was good, the bathroom fan is very loud. The location did what l wanted it too. Easy to get around on the many lines going through Earl's Court. with a proper clothes closet

Very clean, safe, excellent location. Agent was lovely. Heat warning: no AC and windows open only a few inches (and no screens) so in hot weather it never cools down. Happened to be there in a heat wave and is was very uncomfortable at night. Since the photos, a lot of stuff has been moved into the flat for storage. Makes for a small place feeling very crowded and an unfortunately limited amount of open space for traveler's things. None the less, it is a great location and very clean and safe.

Dear Philip Thank you for your kind words & apologies for my delay in replying to you! I was away for a week outside London & didn't have access to my VRBO account to find your review. There was indeed nothing further for you to do, other than what you did. In fact, thank you for taking out the trash! Even that wasn't necessary - all covered in the cleaning provided before & after each stay. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Only sorry I didn't see a bit more of you, thanks to my own commitments! Kindest regards Stephen

Cosy functional flat in a great location

This flat was small but had everything we needed as a family of three on our visit to London. Location was convenient, and the host was extremely helpful and friendly.

What a location!

Super easy walk to the tube station, great bus service, everything you need to get anywhere in London. It's a funky older property, that has its charms, in a great neighborhood.

Great location and host!

We had a lovely 2 week stay here. Stephen was amazing, hospitable and friendly. The location is wonderful, really easy to navigate the city. Plenty of cafes and restaurants are walkable and even a grocery. Pretty quiet street and building. Would definitely stay again!

Cosy but convenient

The location is perfect for anyone visiting for a few days. Old style apartment which needs some TLC, but has every convenience needed. Close to tube, supermarket, museums, etc, it’s an ideal base for solo travellers or couples. Communication with Stephen the agent is excellent- friendly, helpful and prompt in replies.

Wonderful time

Was truly a wonderful time. Our host Stephan came and greeted us at the station and gave us a great orientation of the area and the accommodations. The most extraordinary thing about the orientation he did it with a broken arm awaiting surgery. Thanks for the incredible hospitality!

Location, location, location!!

The apartment is a four minute walk from Earls Court Underground making it possible to reach almost any spot in the city in 30 minutes. By staying here we were able to do twice as much as we would have in another location. The apartment was clean and well outfitted. Very comfortable for two.

Check in problem

Overall I had a great time here. Good neighborhood but a little noisy with traffic at night. Lots of local restaurants and grocery stores. Easy underground access. Check in was stressful but Vrbo customer service was able to resolve the issue

Confortable apartment

We stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks and we had a very good time. The building is quiet, very secure and clean. The location is excellent, 2 blocks from the tube( metro), several restaurants and super markets near by. Stephen was so nice and help us to navigate the city. We hope to come back to London soon and stay in the same apartment. Thank you very much Stephen .

The property was cozy, perfectly located and exactly as described. Stephen was a phenomenal host and ensured we had not only everything we needed to be comfortable in our stay, but fantastic tools and resources to make the most of our time in London. He was incredibly responsive, warm, and a true joy to work with. We can't wait to come back and truly cannot say enough positive things about our time in the flat! Thank you!!

London Vacation

Two seniors shared the flat using both beds. We were very comfortable and appreciated having the wash machine along with detergent to keep up with our clothes on a 10 day trip. Location was great, short walk to Earl's Ct. tube station and plenty of restaurants and bakeries. If you are a light sleeper there is a fair amount of traffic noise even up 4 flights, but we did fine with a travel white noise machine. We would book again if we come back to London.

Decent place, good location

Location is great. About 3/10th mile to Earl’s Court tube station, and 4/10th mile to Gloucester Road station. We walked home as late as 10pm and never felt unsafe. Close to 3 grocery stores, and lots of little restaurants. Apartment was adequate. Small kitchen with small fridge, microwave, and stove - we could whip up a breakfast and have a cold drink when we got in. We were there for 11 days, but spent little time in the apartment other than sleeping.

Comfy apartment for two in great location.

This is a well furnished and comfy little apartment just two blocks from the Earl's Court underground stop (great for in/out to Heathrow as well as getting around the city). Overall it's a good size for two; might be a bit tight for more (except children). You do have to keep the windows closed at night due to Cromwell Road traffic, but they are very good at blocking sound. Everything functions well; the wifi is great. The neighborhood has great eating options. The rental agent, Stephen, is exceptionally courteous and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

London visit

The Manager of this flat is incredibly friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable about London. My sole concern was the lack of a 2nd exit if there was a fire. I found the space claustrophobic as the windows are high up but that is a personal Quirk. Otherwise it was clean and had everything one needs for a short stay.
Stayed 7 nights in Apr 2019
Response from VrboOwner on 31 Jul, 2023
Thank you for pointing out about the fire escapes. My honest mistake! There are indeed two escape routes in the event of fire. One to the left outside the door of the apartment, with stairs leading to the ground floor. The second is to the right outside the apartment, where the hall leads to stairs in the house next door, also leading to the ground floor. Obviously overlooked mentioning this while we were entering with luggage! Apologies!

Great location in London!

We had a wonderful time in London!! This flat was perfect for us. One block walk to the Underground station so all of London was readily available to us! Bus stop just down the street also. The flat is just as pictured. Stephen is an excellent host. Very knowledgeable about the area - Earl’s Court - and London in general as well. He was so helpful with any concerns or questions we had. Stephen made us feel like the flat was our “home” for ten days. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay

Stephen is a great host. He greeted us at the tube station and walked us to the apartment. He gave us an orientation of the area and house , the things to watch for and some great suggestions of places to eat. The apartment is well located. Direct bus to here from so many places like Oxford street and such. Hop on hop off bus stops were a few minutes away.. Having the elevator was so helpful. It was fairly warm when we were there but manageable with fans…..we needed an extra one and Stephen provided it graciously when we requested. I would gladly. I don’t back and stay again.

Host ghosted us, we had to book something else

Our host never send check-in instructions, despite acknowledging our payments. We were unable to contact the host prior to or after or arrival in London and had to work with VRBO customer service to get a refund and find an alternate booking standing on a sidewalk in South Kensington, London with our bags. I hope our host is alright, and I give huge kudos to the VRBO customer service team for prompt and comprehensive attention to our situation.
