ARE WE THERE YET? is the East half of an Oceanfront Duplex, recently refurbished with 2100 sq.ft of living space. New kitchen cabinets and granite!! New bathroom vanities with granite!!Furnished with designer furniture, as well as pillow-top mattresses. Linens are provided with beds made. Central air and heat, well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, 6 flat screen TV's, DVD players, wireless high speed Internet access with free wifi, Jacuzzi in master suite, ceiling fans throughout, water softener. Panoramic ocean views; great for dolphin watching. Large oceanfront decks on three levels with high end porch furniture ( Polywood hi top table and chairs) including chaise lounges. New high end swivel padded rockers. Middle deck has DRY SNAP ROOF so it can be enjoyed rain or shine. Plenty of outdoor dining space with picnic tables. WEBER gas grill, enclosed hot/cold outside shower, double carport with additional parking and lighted landscaping. Located near Bogue Inlet Pier. Weekly only during high season. No smoking. No pets. Must be 25 years old to rent.

We had a wonderful experience at this home. The proximity to the beach, pier, and to several restaurants was unbeatable. The home had everything we needed and then some. The views from the home were the best we’ve ever had at a beach property. Communication with Terry was excellent and easy. We would love to return and will be recommending this stay to others!

Great Vacation

We were in Emerald Isle for a long weekend for a wedding and chose this house to enjoy our stay. The house was very clean and well decorated. The views were amazing! The check in process was very easy and the owners were very informative and helpful. I will definitely be booking this house again!

Relaxation at the Beach

Absolutely Amazing Vacation Home

I would like to say that we had an amazing time on our trip. A big part of this was due to the beautiful, spacious and comfortable vacation home we were blessed to find! When I say immaculate, it just doesn’t do it justice! This property was spotless and so well equipped that they simply thought of EVERYTHING! The hosts were fantastic, so kind and thoughtful! Paradise

Beautiful, modern home in a magnificent oceanfront property! Mere steps from the white sand of Emerald Isle’s Crystal Coast! Walking distance to superb eateries and shopping! My family greatly enjoyed “Are We There Yet” from being gathered around the gorgeous diningroom table playing games provided by the host, Terry; enjoying S’mores from the grill, and being gathered on the deck to take in the picturesque views of the ocean’s tide. The home is beautifully maintained and fully stocked with everything your heart could desire! Need shampoo, conditioner, or body-wash? Host Terry has gone above and beyond to fulfill your desires! I have been coming to EI for over 20 years, and his home and thoughtfulness is unparalleled! We will definitely be back! Loved every minute of our stay!

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed for a week and enjoyed every second. This home is beautiful. Location is perfect, views were amazing and the owners were so helpful! Thanksgiving on the beach!

We brought our immediate family, which was 10 of us ,to stay here for the week of Thanksgiving. I couldn’t even think of anything that wasn’t perfect. The location of the place was perfect, the rooms perfect ,the kitchen utensils, and plates and everything you need for a beautiful Thanksgiving table was there and perfect. I cannot thank them enough for giving us such a wonderful time at Thanksgiving on theBeach. My 8 yr old grandson said he had never stayed in a mansion before and he loved it. First Timers

Frequent vacation renters in the EI area: AWTY was fantastic and felt like a true home away from home. Very comfortably furnished and equipped inside and out. The TVs were large and easy to operate. We've stayed at the adjoining Double D many times with our dog but with no pet this trip, AWTY truly felt like an upgrade. Highly recommend for a very nice place convenient to all of EI.

Very impressive property

We have stayed at several beach house rentals and Terry’s property far exceeded all of them. The customer service was top notch. Items that impressed us: rental was ready 3 hours early, cleanliness was impeccable, kitchen stock and quality of items were wonderful and our favorite part was that there was ample balcony seating that included high top chairs and table. The location of the house is lovely being close to everything you need but the beach in front of the house isn’t crowded at all since it isn’t too close to public access, etc. Highly recommend!

Truly wonderful

I won't bore you by repeating all the other 5-star reviews, which cover the amenities so well. Read them to hear how wonderful this house is. I'll just add to them by saying that, while staying in this lovely house, I witnessed two of the greatest sunsets of my life just outside the backdoor. Also, sleeping to the sound of ocean waves is pretty fantastic. The owner is very helpful, attentive, and flexible, and we'll be staying here again for sure!
