The cabin was the perfect spot for seeing mountains, close to Mary’s Lake and had lots of wildlife come through the yard. Great place to relax!!

While the property was clean on the surface, if you take a deeper look it needed some extra attention. For instance, the coffee maker had black mold growing inside it and had to be cleaned before we could use it. Filter on the water pitcher was also moldy and gave off a terrible smell. Also there were rust stains in the toilet which I wasn't wild about.Overall, the house was fine, but could use some attention for the price that we paid. Mattresses are old, the master bedroom door knob was loose on both sides. Also, the bunk beds have no proper ladder, you have to climb up on the sides of the bunk bed. This could be an issue for some folks who stay and should be mentioned to them in advance. Mattresses are old spring mattresses that are sagging in the middle and I would highly recommend bringing your own pillows since the ones provided are very thin. I definitely enjoyed the area and the outdoors. The location is prime.

This cabin was perfect for us. The fenced in yard for our dog Daisy was key in our decision to book this cabin. It is also a short walk to Lake Mary were we enjoyed walking around the lake. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location close to RMNP

This location was perfect for my husband, two young kids, and me to use as a home base while exploring RMNP. Lots of great hiking close by. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. Fenced in yard was great for our dog too. Renee was very helpful with clearing up a VRBO glitch that happened while booking. The cabin itself is a little rustic and “no frills,” but it is exactly as pictured

Family trip to the Rockies

We enjoyed two nights in this cabin. The location was absolutely perfect. Just over a mile from the best grocery store in town stocked with meat, beer, cheeses, eggs, produce, bread, and ice cream. Located minutes away from the park and major thoroughfares to easily travel South, West and north. Plenty of outdoor seating. Convenient grill and easy to use washer and dryer The beds were quite comfortable. The owner was very communicative and helpful throughout the process. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

Loved It!

I had a couple family members coming to visit Colorado and was looking for a nice, quiet place to stay while we explored Estes Park and the surrounding areas. This cabin did not disappoint. Everything was clean and well kept. Spent the evenings at the cabin cooking and grilling while having a few drinks and it was everything I was hoping for. Sitting out on the deck overlooking Mary's Lake and it was so quiet. It was during the middle of the week so there were fewer people around. I will definitely look at renting this place again during my next mountain getaway!

Management Rose to a difficult challenge

This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean spacious cabin with nice views of Lake Mary, and abundant Humming Birds, Magpies and other birds visiting the feeders. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and it was nice to have both a dishwasher and laundry machines. Unfortunately, the plumbing to the toilet completely backed up one morning, due to wet wipes some previous tenant had flushing into the old-style plumbing system. The manager responded immediately, and had plumbers out to the cabin. They had to dig up the main sewar line and install up to code cleanouts to fix the problem. It took most of the day, but was almost done by the time we got back from RMNP. After the plumbing was resolved, the manager had the cleaning crew out to clean and sanitize the bathroom. Although the plumbing problem was a major one, we experienced only minor inconvenience. We really appreciated the rapid and thorough response! Future tenants will not also have the comfort of knowing the sewar line is now up to modern code.

Excellent location. Steep driveway incline, lots of wildlife and humming birds galore. Cabin is a bit dated and some things didn't work properly, i.e. the sliding shower door was off its top rollers and Keurig coffee machine did not function at all.
