Welcome to Blueberry Point on Cable Lake!

If you’re lucky enough to spend time in Northern Wisconsin, then you’re lucky enough! Cable Lake is a spring-fed lake with clear water. It is 179 acres with a maximum depth of 24 feet. Cable Lake is home to panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and an occasional walleye.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery and sounds while sitting in the screened porch with the lake wrapping around both sides of the cabin. Catch some fish off one of the two private docks. Take the canoe or kayak for a paddle around the lake. Prepare a tasty dinner on either the gas, or charcoal, weber grill on the outdoor sun deck. Roast marshmallows around the campfire. Visit the small, but charming town of Spooner with wonderful coffee hangouts, restaurants, and shopping.

GOOD TO KNOW:
Fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink.
Extra paper supplies and the vacuum cleaner are in the entry closet.
Extra sheets are in the dresser in the east bedroom, and blankets are in the east bedroom closet.
Bath and beach towels are in the hall closet across from the bathroom.
Cleaning supplies are under the kitchen and bathroom sinks.
Wireless internet is available, but service is sometimes spotty/slow.
Parking for up to two vehicles.
There is a public boat launch on Cable Lake.

We recently added forced-air heat and air conditioning. Please keep the thermostat at a reasonable setting. If using heat or air conditioning, please keep windows and doors closed. We also have new carpet. Please notify us of any spills so that we can keep the cabin looking fresh and clean.

Perfect getaway!

The location of this place is perfect! My kids absolutely loved exploring around the cabin and finding fish near the dock. The hosts were super accommodating. This will definitely be a place we hope to return to.

Blueberry Pooint Canin

This is the nicest cabin I’ve stayed in. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Well stocked for cooking and staying in. The lake is so calm and beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch watching the water. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The host was very accommodating. We had to leave early and they offered us a refund. We were very impressed with their customer service. The living room furniture could have been more comfortable and the beds were only full size but otherwise, it was a wonderful cabin.

Would have been better, but the power was out for 9 hours on Saturday, so no bathroom and could not make coffee or use the stove.

This was out of our control, as the power lines were taken down by trees in multiple spots, during a storm. The power was back on by 2:00 PM, so you did have a large part of your day left. It’s unfortunate that you based your review on this.

Beautiful lake views!

Lovely place to make sure the kids bed times were not disrupted after a long day with family in Shell Lake! Teenagers bedtimes do not mesh with the “littles” bedtimes! And Mom & Dad could relax under the stars while the “littles” were asleep. We’ll definitely be back.
