The cobblestone deck with the view of the gorgeous lake from outside and the windows of the house will have you fall in love with this cute and simple cabin like place.

Sunlight and scenery from every window shines into the house. Make a bonfire at night and enjoy the view on the deck.

You have lots of space on the ground floor and basement for a comfortable family gathering in any season. Paddle boat, paddleboards, and bicycles provided for the summer time lake and outdoors fun!There is a long trail just in a walking distance from the house. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The house is few minutes away from West End where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Downtown Minneapolis is only 8 minutes away. Downtown Hopkins with lots of festivals throughout the year is 5 min. away. Few beaches are within minutes away. Only 15-20 min away from the airport. Few blocks away from major Hwy. close to knoll wood mall and shopping centers. Great Location!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
If you move furniture, make sure you put it back. If you have taken cans or snack on the patio, please clean up before checkout. Do not throw trash down the deck.
Gather all the dirty towels and try a load of laundry and left the rest in the hamper. Do not worry about linens, they will be taken out of the house to wash.
Turn off lights and put the keys where you got them. Throw trash in the bin outside by the fence. Do not put trash in the recycle bin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If you move the furniture in the house, everything has to be back where you moved them from. No spilling on the carpet. I charge for any stain.
Please take your shoes off when you are in the house. Please close the kitchen any entrance to the house due to mouse entering the house.
upon check out, take the garbage out and put the dishes in the washer and run it and put towels in the washer and run it.

The lake house was a great place to stay! We had a group of six, and while I initially questioned the number of beds listed, everything worked out perfectly for our group. We tried our hand at fishing but didn’t have much luck—partly because we didn’t have live bait and it was pretty rainy.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely rent again! Azy was such a sweet person and was wonderful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Our family of five had more than enough room to be comfortable. Great location! We were able to get to Mall of America, Walker Art Museum, cute restaurants, book stores, and even a ghost tour with not too long of a drive.

We loved the home on the lake! The kids enjoyed the paddle boards and paddle boat, as well as having a cookout and making s’mores. Movie nights with popcorn and sleeping in were a nice treat! There was even live outdoor music at one of the other houses and we enjoyed listening while on the lake. Much needed relaxation time and we would stay again!

Was supposed to be lakeside. Well, you have only a very obstructed view of the lake. The Lake is a mud hole. The house is like 1990's and never renovated. The furniture was like from Goodwill. The deck was dirty and unkept and the BBQ grill was Nasty.We fell for some very fancy photos that did not represent today's condition.

Overall we had a great experience at the property. The space was ample, the deck and backyard area was perfect, and we loved the location in proximity to the cities. There were some small cleanliness issues - some of the pillows smelled like a body odor, there were a ton of spiders and spiderwebs outdoors and in the garage (can’t be helped), and the back lawn wasn’t mowed so we ended up doing it ourselves. There was also not wifi available that was advertised on the listing. Overall it was a good deal for the gathering we put together, but there was some clean up to be done initially. We also don’t know if the water is swimmable, it seemed eutrophic to some degree

The host made a mistake about our check-in date so the check-in information was incorrect and a bedroom and kitchen sink were not clean and ready. When I contacted them, they were very apologetic and offered to come and clean. They were very responsive. Other than that hiccup, the place was perfect for our trip and we had a wonderful time. The little lake was fun, the downstair space was great, and it was close to all our activities. Our family would go again.

Great property and beautiful views. I loved the private feeling on the deck and down by the lake and our 5 kids loved playing with the provided equipment! There are plenty of chairs on the deck, a grill and a fire pit, and additional chairs by the lake.The house was very clean and ready for us to enjoy immediately. I loved all the little 'extras' everywhere; having so much of these little odds and ends for guests to use if needed is incredible. The entire house is set up and stocked very thoughtfully to provide a great experience for the guests. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, everything we needed was thought of provided.Outside there is quite a bit of noise from the airport, trains, and the nearby highway, but the house is so well insulated that you cant hear the noise while inside. The host did inform me they were outside the country and let me know their timezone, and they still made sure to be available and kept in touch well during our stay. There was a fluke incident where a neighbor's tree fell and knocked out our power. I tried contacting the host so they could report the outage but was unable to reach them (it was middle of the night for them.) We were able to figure out who the local utility provider was and contacted them to safely restore the power. The host got back to us within hours as well to check in and make sure things were taken care of.Excellent property. Would definitely recommend to others.
