Comfortable well maintained quiet property located just off River road that offers a short ride down to Carolina beach or offers an easy trip into Wilmington with having to use 421. The community the property is located in has numerous walking options both on the streets that are not busy with traffic or on numerous paved walking paths.

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. Everything I needed was available and there was a lovely view in the back. The neighborhood was great for dog walking with a nice nature trail close by.

The property was very nice and clean, it’s situated in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The communication with the owner was excellent. They responded very quickly and were very helpful. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend the property!

We enjoyed our stay at this property for the most part. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen. It was spacious and good for our group. We did have an issue with the thermostat. It was a smart thermostat similar to what we have at home. The issue is that it kept adjusting itself. This was not a big deal during the day, but was an issue at night. We went to bed and I woke up in the middle of the night extremely hot. The temperature was set to 75. I turned it down and went back to bed. I woke up again with the temperature set to 72 and locked.I contacted the host who informed us that the thermostat was in a learning mode. They said they took it off and we were okay the rest of the trip.While I understand energy costs are high, i feel that if you rent a property you should be able to control this within reason.

Thank you for your feedback, Elizabeth. The thermostat learning was remote the same night per your request. However, setting up a thermostat at 60 in the middle of the night can damage the system. We will make updates to the listing regarding the temperature control so that guests are aware of the rules. Any special request will be addressed as needed.

We truly enjoyed our stay! We had similar issue with the thermostat as another reviewer did, but once we communicated it was sorted out. It did seem the renters would prefer to be in control of the thermostat, but they at least erased the memory of the 'learned patterns' of the smart thermostat when I requested to change it. Overall it was enjoyable and we would stay again.

This place was very nice! It was clean and I enjoyed the location. My original perception about this place just based on the pictures made it seem that was in a more remote location and set independently from any other housing, but it is part of a shared community. It was still very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
