7 wooded acres - tucked back on a secluded dead-end road. which dead ends (less than 700 feet) into Tar Hollow State Forest at a bridle/hiking trail into the forest. Tar Hollow features over 16,000 acres of public hunting, miles of hiking and bridle trails, and a lake for boating and fishing. This a diverse property with tons of deer, turkey and other wildlife. It is a wonderful getaway, spacious, relaxing, and private retreat. Located 23 miles to Old Man's Cave and Hocking Hills State Park,15 miles from Chillicothe, 57 miles from Downtown Columbus

U.S. Marine Corps Veteran couple owned - with 2 years of Premier Host experience. This is our getaway that we are making available for others to enjoy. It has everything you need for a home away from home. Wifi, and many other amenities such as hot tub, propane grill, fire pit, and private trail on property. Also, there is one security camera facing down the driveway only for security. Keyless entry, swing set going in by the end of May.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

The Sage Cabin was great for our 3 night visit to the area. Quiet, clean and pretty much perfect for our stay. Being pet friendly was a big plus. Cabin location was ideal for us as it was close to the amazing Hocking Hills State Park and only one hour from Serpent Mound in Peebles. We also enjoyed learning the details of the early 1800's history of the Adena Mansion in Chillicothe, about 30 minutes away. All places well worth the visit. Mark was a top host. We use VRBO a lot and he was a 10/10 on the host scale. I highly recommend the Sage Cabin for both short and long one visits.

PEACE on the hill.

Sage Cabin was everything my husband and I had hoped it’d be! The cabin sits a top the hill so the view is everything in the morning while relaxing on the outdoor top deck with a cup of morning Joe! The decor of the home is very warm and welcoming, rustic with a touch of class I’d say. We got into a lot our 6 days there, drove into near towns for food, shopping and antiquing. We explored Old Mans Cave at Hocking Hills State Park, which is an absolutely must if you’ve never been. It’s stunning and anytime experience. My husband and I travel often and were sight seer’s so getting into everything surrounding us was a must. This little get away was just what my husband and I needed and Sage Cabin was our icing on the cake!

Sage Hill Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at Sage Hill Cabin! We hiked in Hocking Hills during the day and loved having the hot tub available for our sore muscles 😊 The cabin was clean and comfortable. Everyone was sad to leave and we hope to visit again!

Wonderful stay!!

It was a great little get away with my friends. The nature surrounding it is very refreshing. The hot tub was very nice! The beds were quite comfy! We all enjoyed our stay!

This property is built into a tall hillside and completely full of trees and trails. It is secluded, relaxing and a quick walk to a bridle/hiking trail 700 feet at the end of the road on to Tar Hollow State Forest.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views, wonderful seclusion, restful and peaceful cabin to get away from it all while enjoying the conveniences of home. The hot tub doesn't hurt either!

It is a super clean modern cabin with a definite rustic feel. There a large front balcony and small back balcony where observe nature as well as large windows facing different directions.

All the conveniences of a complete modern kitchen. It also has a bath tub, standing shower, large dining table, comfortable couch, lofted bedroom, two private bedrooms, and pool tabl/game room.
