Spacious modern studio apartment overlooking Rehoboth Bay. This property was build recently on a separate footprint behind the family house. You'll be away from the crowds, close to the beach, tucked away on the last street in town before miles of nature preserves. Walk to the restaurants, bars, beaches in Dewey, or a short bike ride to Rehoboth. It's a quiet street in a noisy area, the best of both worlds.

A private entrance is connected to far end of house, and separated by a large room with double doors. Privacy will not be an issue, and if both house and studio are rented simultaneously, a door key will be provided.

The small kitchen is limited but functional for basic cooking. Full size fridge, ice maker, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric range. There is plenty of cocktail glasses and serving dishes for at home meals or take out.

Bathroom is roomy, with double sinks and multi head shower.

Remote blinds open to beautiful bay views, a deck, and open seating in living room. Separate laundry room with full washer dryer, large smart tv, and wifi.

Per code, the apartment is on the second floor up a wide staircase. There is an elevator, but we ask our guests not to use it. The first floor is the owners garage, which will not be accessible.

Bikes can be parked under deck, or around back where you can access umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, wooden skimboard and toys. People may be heard accessing garage for landscaping and maintenance needs.

Technically you can access bay through side yard, depending on tides. If you want beach just walk across street. Public beach is one block north, but I just sit on private beach because I found a few 'Indian Beach' community beer coozies that I use for credentials. We're not members, technically.

If you happen to be a kitesurfer, please contact me as I launch right out front regularly. It gets a lot of really clean onshore winds March - May. It's one of three houses in Dewey, of only a handful in the state. Very good place to stay for kiters.
