One of a kind beach house ... tastefully appointed with breathtaking views and a 5 minute walk to the Beach. Open floor plan, with kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and deck overlooking the Rehoboth Bay. Recently renovated gourmet kitchen great for entertaining. 1 Master bedroom with oversize newly renovated bathroom also with bay views. Three additional bedrooms, and another two newly renovated bathrooms plus an outside shower. This two-story home will accommodate at least 2 families in 4 large bedrooms.

Far from the crowds, but close to everything, walk to the Beach, marina, and restaurants. Outlets, recreational parks, and grocery shopping within a short drive.

Suitability: Minimum age limit for renters, children welcome, non smoking policy, pets not allowed, wheelchair inaccessible.

Great location! Easy access to all Dewey has to offer. Hosts were easy to contact with any questions we had during our stay. House was clean and well kept. Appreciated all the extension cords with plugs! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The house is at a great location. The kitchen is well stocked for lots of people. The listing says room for 3 cars but there is room for more. We had 4 cars and we could have even fit 2 more. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house. Spacious and good for a large family or group. A little closer to the busy highway than I expected and while the walk to the beach was easy it was also along the busy road and with 4 toddlers was a challenge. I did not complain about the cleanliness but there were some areas that needed more attention—the stove and oven area were greasy. And the vents need attention. Overall a lovely stay; well outfitted and comfortable.

A perfect family getaway

We had 7 of us age ranged from 18 to 57 and we all found things to do in Dewey! This was walkable to everything! I would highly recommend! A great space for a family!

Short Getaway

This was a short getaway to the beach with family. This listing had everything you would need to for a family with young kids. The place was very clean and well kept. Would stay here again.

Nice place close to beach and restaurants

There was a group of us and we didn’t want to have to take our cars everywhere, this location was great for that. Short walk to the beach and the bars and restaurants. Rooms were set up exactly like they were shown in the pictures. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was as advertised and was in an exceptionally good condition. Clean and everything worked, especially the air conditioner The perfect beach house and literally a five minute walk to the beach and bay. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet and peaceful - a great week was had by the whole family!

Great location and plenty of space!

We stayed at the end of June ‘24. Very clean and spacious. Large deck with plenty of seating. The Beach is a short walk up the street. All 3 bathrooms were in great condition. Beds were comfortable and the Master bedroom/bath has a great view! Everything we needed and we visited 3 different beaches while staying here. Ocean City boardwalk was a short relaxing drive.

Our stay was okay overall, but I wanted to clarify a few things that may be helpful for future guests.The home is located across Route 1 from the beach. While there is a street directly across from the house, it leads to a private beach, so public beach access requires walking several blocks. My mom has some mobility issues, and the walk to the ocean was much longer than we expected. Had we understood the home's exact location relative to the nearest public beach access, we likely would have chosen a different property. There is no ocean view from this home that we could see.The "basic soaps" provided consisted only of hand soap. There was no body wash, shampoo, or conditioner available.Communication with the owners was slow.While nothing was unacceptable, the overall presentation and experience lacked the polished feel we've experienced in similarly priced rentals. We do not plan to return.

Overall, we loved this house. 6 adults and 2 toddlers and we had plenty of space to all sit together in the living room. Deck was great! Walk to the beach was very easy and the beach seemed less crowded than it was further up. Hope to rent again!

Lovely stay

This property was rented for a 50th birthday celebration. The home was clean, updated and comfortable. Plenty of seating for our 11 guests. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The cul de sac location was great for easy access to beach and restaurants and bars were a quick walk away. Owners were quick to respond to any inquiries and ready to help. We only had 2 "issues" with the house. First, with the exception of the master bedroom, the other 2 rooms upstairs can become very stuffy and warm. There are 2 fans provided and we used them but had to keep the bedroom doors open so the air could circulate. The second issue is not something the owners can do much about. It's the neighbors. The owners do ask that you not use the deck on the front of the house after 10PM because the neighbors bedroom window overlooks it. Understandable. However, the neighbor seemed to watch every move we made even hearing at us at 8:45 in the evening as we quietly made our way out and the sensor light came on. She yelled at us that we needed to turn it off and we explained through the bushes that it was just the sensor light. After that we kept the lights off and used our cellphone flashlights to make sure we navigated the stairs in the dark. Arguing with them was just not worth it. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

A shame

Our group that stayed feels scammed. I had to ask the owner for check-in instructions twice, and at the end of our stay 2 weeks later I receive a VERY expensive charge (apparently I can't disclaim in this review) for 10 new towels.... I asked everyone in our group to bring their own beach towels since the instructions for check-in said that they don't clean their beach towels they provide and it's up to the guest. So the beach towels weren't used and I get a picture from the owner of a green towel with a stain on it that clearly wasn't from our group, as well as a picture of ONE towel that had makeup on it. They claimed they had to replace all of the towels in the house, which was just blatantly a lie and a way to get more money off of us. House is already too expensive for what it is and it's a shame the owners have to scam people into charging more by lying that makeup won't come out of a towel as a way to buy all brand new ones. I tried to fight the charge and VRBO customer service was awful - got disconnected twice and they never got back to me about the dispute. Renter beware.
