Custom modern home near Olympic National Park

Our home is a custom build, carefully designed to curate a modern, luxurious retreat in close proximity to the rugged recreation of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, heated concrete floors, a chef's kitchen, a dedicated workspace for remote employees, large windows to let in the natural light and peekaboo water views. Situated on 4-acres of partially wooded land, the 450 square foot deck capitalizes on the temperate climate, outfitted with a gas fireplace, 6-person hot tub and a BBQ for outdoor entertaining. The location is a private as it is convenient, located just 7 minutes to downtown Port Angeles, 10 minutes to fantastic mountain biking, 15 minutes to the Olympic National Park, and 20 minutes to Lake Crescent.

We are opening our house for booking starting mid-June 2024, which is why there aren't any reviews yet. Any questions, please reach out!

This is an excellent place to stay when in the Port Angeles/Olympic area. It is set nicely in a quiet, wooded area. But still close to town and the area attractions. The hosts were very friendly and responsive- reminded us of the original VRBO days when hosts were sharing their home with you! We highly recommend this place rather than the other options in the area.

This house is even more fantastic than the pictures suggest. And it is spotless. One of the nice touches was the library, with a collection of terrific books. The house really made our holiday. We used the hot tub every day. The location is excellent, and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

The location is fantastic. Convenient to Port Angeles but is very private and feels secluded. The house is absolutely amazing. The design and architecture is wonderful and everything in the house is very high quality and thoughtfully designed. Deck and hot tub were great for relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were helpful and responsive. Check in/out was very smooth and easy. Can't recommend this place enough, wish I could live here

Wonderful House

The house/property was great. There was plenty of space for parking. The house was very clean with modern amenities in a very quiet setting. We loved spending time on the big back deck with the firepit and the hot tub. We even saw a deer walk thru the yard one night. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for sharing your house!

Amazing Olympic National Park stay

The home is cozy, modern, well furnished and very clean. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The views from the deck are fantastic. The price point is high end and worthy of your investment for an outstanding trip.

We stayed this past week at Claire and Josh’s place and loved every second. Their place has excellent amenities (hottub, grill, pot-filler), a comfy yet modern feel. Claire and Josh were attentive and response, 10/10 would rent their place again!

10/10 recommend gorgeous home near Olympic National Park

Our family of four loved staying here. The house is gorgeous, beds are comfy, kitchen is well-equipped. We especially loved that so many conveniences were included (coffee, laundry & dish soap, paper towels, spices & cooking essentials, etc). It made it feel like home. The setting is quiet and pastoral (we saw deer in the yard a few times) but just 10 min from Port Angeles. We enjoyed close-by trail runs. The hosts are lovely and more than helpful if you need anything. This house is a gem - 10/10 recommend. I hope we can come back!

These hosts were excellent and the place is absolutely fantastic. We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house and enjoyed every minute. Port Angeles is a great place to visit, we will be coming back and booking this house again. Well stocked and perfectly located with easy access to many hiking and biking trails.

Beautiful home in Port Angeles

We stayed at this home for 4 nights in early August. It’s such a beautiful custom built home. We enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean, nicely decorated, and has a great deck with a hot tub. The area is private and peaceful, only 10 min drive from the Port Angeles restaurants. It’s also conveniently located for many hikes in the area. The owners live on site, at an apartment ~150 feet away from the home. They are friendly, responsive but otherwise keep to themselves. We would recommend this home to those visiting this area and would be happy to stay here again.

Outstanding!

One of our best VRBO stays yet! This home is absolutely stunning with all the bells and whistles, and Claire & Josh are fabulous and generous hosts. Location was perfect for all the good hiking Olympic NP has to offer and a quick 10min drive to town for evening dinners and shopping. The setting is quiet with amazing views from the entire back of the home. We appreciated the easy and clear instructions for check-in and the thoughtful touches and conveniences throughout this beautifully designed home. We especially enjoyed the deck with its comfy seating and hot tub. The house itself is spotless, with all modern features, incredibly comfortable beds and plenty of room for all of your things. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Claire and Josh were fabulous hosts, responding immediately to all of our questions before and throughout our stay. I’d give extra stars if I could! Highly recommend!!

This is an amazing property and I highly recommend it. It feels more like a home than a rental. It is extremely well appointed, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is comfortable, especially the sofa in the main room. Kitchen counters are concrete, which is beautiful and feels modern and solid. All the appliances seemed new and clean. The house is heated with radiant heat from the concrete floors. There are thermostats that allow you to set the floor temperatures and they drive the temperatures of the rooms. There’s a large gas fireplace in the main room by the sofa and TV. The table in the dining room sat six comfortably but could have fit more. Driveway is gravel, and the lower one is steep so if you have an eco rental, there’s a flatter way in around the corner. The property is relatively rural, on a country road outside of Port Angeles. It’s quiet and private. The yard is open but is edged by forest. The deck faces Port Angeles and you can see the town and the harbor on a clear day. The deck is heated, and we used the hot tub every night. It was clean and in perfect condition. We grilled one night and the grill was excellent. One of the best I’ve seen at a rental. Clean, and cooked great. The showers were good and stayed hot with six in the house. There’s a rain head in the master and also a regular head. Overall this was our favorite house of the three we stayed in. Excellent place to stay while visiting Olympic. Stop reading and book it!
