Located at the base of the Palisades Tahoe Resort in Olympic Valley, CA at North Lake Tahoe. Palisades/Alpine Meadows offers some of the best Big Mountain skiing/riding with epic steeps and chutes plus world-class groomers such as the 3-mile “Mountain Run” and is home to the famous KT-22 (the chair selected best in North America by Skiing Magazine). The beautiful, newly remodeled Olympic Village Inn (OVI) suite features a luxurious queen-size bed plus a queen-size sofa sleeper (with very comfortable, plush, extra-thick mattress), 2-burner stove, mini-fridge, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, Direct TV, DVD, stereo, free Wi-Fi internet, five outdoor spas, large year-round heated swimming pool, gas BBQ, Clubhouse with arcade, sauna, fireplace, full kitchen, & gym. Organized activities for the whole family offered for free by the very friendly staff (includes ski/snowboard mountain tour, free snow shoe rentals, wine & cheese party, arts & crafts for the kids and much more…). You can also relax by the fire in the cozy library nook or learn about the rich history of the Sierras during a movie and discussion hosted by the OVI staff. Enjoy the nearby Palisades Tahoe Village with great restaurants, bars and boutique shops for a wonderful après ski experience. Also, be sure to visit the Palisades Tahoe High Camp with awesome views of the Sierras and Lake Tahoe offering daytime restaurants, pubs, ice skating and a hot tub bar (during the Spring season). The Olympic Museum is also worth visiting while up at High Camp and the admission is free with your Aerial Tram ride. Other activities available in the area include dog sled & horse drawn sleigh rides (when available), cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.

Comfortable one room suite

Great location and overall solid place to stay. While it wasn't the most up dated room, it was very comfortable and had all necessary amenities. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy to access the Palisades @ Tahoe and the staff was very nice.
