Our family compound includes a cottage, cabin, a bungalow and ocean water-crafts, idyllic vacation or summer retreat! Enter the main cottage to 180-degree ocean and island views which change hourly with the tides and weather patterns. Your compound experience is quintessentially located on Seal Harbor in mid-coast Maine, offering a full kitchen, living room and entertainment room, stone fireplace, and classic cottage deck. The cabin provides the capacity to comfortably sleep six, this charming cabin hosts twin beds on the first floor, along with a second-floor entertainment and dining area with sleeping quarters, efficiency kitchen and ¾ bath. The delightful bungalow provides a separate first level guest cottage, equipped with a full bath and able to sleep two to four people. Enjoy the ocean breezes and water views from the Spruce Head granite patio and gardens. Also included are 3 sea kayaks, a paddle board, a Nutshell Pram (wood row boat and turnabout sailboat), and a tri-hull Hobie for those experienced sailors. Weekly lawn & garden care, house cleaning, boat bailing and trash services are all provided and included. There are no other hidden fees such as taxes, turn-over fees, etc.

Compound living has become requisite for owners, Scott and Catherine, who now enjoy their beautiful home in the coastal community of Spruce Head, Maine. As former campground owners, their hearts desire has been to bring family and friends together around love, laughter, and the outdoors. Their coastal compound can now be yours to enjoy in the same manner. Their home encompasses the true beauty of Maine coastal living. The casual and classic accommodations are ideal for both small and larger family gatherings and special occasions.
Why they chose this property
We love mid-coast Maine and boat up and down the coast visiting the most beautiful harbors and islands imaginable. To narrow down our location was serendipidous in that we are strike distance to Port Clyde, Rockland, Rockport, Camden and a short cycle or paddle to McLoon's Lobster Shack and Waterman's Beach Brewery... PERFECT!
What makes this property unique
This neighborhood is a quiet and peaceful place on a deadend street. To our west is Rackliff Island, to our east is Spruce Island, to our south (straight out front) is Whitehead Island (great hiking) and our own little Cylends (or Slins depending on your charts) where we can swim, paddle and take in the sun-set. Our long mossy driveway leads to our doorstep where you look straight through to the ocean. Every room in the cottage, bunglow and cabin looks out on the ocean and our surrounding forrest.
