Beautiful newly remodeled 6 bedroom home on crystal clear Lake Avalon. Enjoy a relaxing getaway in the quiet setting of northern Michigan. The lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating (bring your own, or we have a Bennington Pontoon available for rent as well, please inquire for additional details). Additional indoor amenities include; basement equipped with pool table, dart board, and arcade game with hundreds of games. Rental also includes basketball hoop, cornhole boards, kayaks, SUPs, hammerschlagen, newly installed patio with fire pit, charcoal grill, gas grill, blackstone, fully stocked kitchen, water trampoline, board games, and more.

My family and I had an amazing stay. There is plenty of things to do in the house and outside. They have everything that you could possibly need in the house from kitchen utensils to games. Everything was clean and well kept.We can’t wait for our return!

This is a perfect property for a big family. The house is accommodating for everyone. There is plenty of things for everyone of all ages to do. The host, Stephanie is always available for questions. The lake is beautiful and just the right size. This is our new favorite vacation spot.

Stephanie was a great host! She answered all my questions quickly and was super kind! My family enjoyed the amount of room this beautiful home offered. It was perfect! Water was crystal clear and knee deep for quite a way so as a family of young kids it was perfect! This home had everything you could want/need. It was perfect!

Lake and back yard are beautiful. Family had a wonderful time. AC is a mini-split on main floor; keeps main space very cool and comfortable. House needs some clean up and maintenance. Surfaces and bathrooms needed better cleaning. Owner refunded our cleaning fee as soon as I reached out and was very appreciative of communication. Zero hassle check in and very flexible and nice people. Beds/mattresses were comfortable and seemed new and clean. Cute furnishings. Plenty of outdoor seating.

This cottage on Lake Avalon was very well suited for our family reunion. The kids and grandkids LOVED the water activity with an ample supply of fun (kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, the floating trampoline, canoe, etc) ...so much fun.The house worked out great with super fast and solid wi-fi, any kitchen utensil and dish you could ask for, 2 fridges, lots of towels, blankets, bed space, and bathrooms. Huge kitchen island for gathering :-)The outdoor space is king here, with the very large patio, and deck space, basketball area, ample parking, rear yard space, and a very nice large shallow area in the lake for the littles to safely splash around.Stephanie was VERY responsive before and during our stay.Also, the small town a few miles away has a wonderful grocery store with everything you could need.We all had a great time!

Visiting Family

We came to Hillman and met my dad and Grandpa who grew up in Hillman. It was nice to have a great place to come back to on the lake after family gatherings. Thank you for hosting us!

What a perfect location

This home has lots of space and was perfect for us to take our kids and grandkids. Beautiful home but the view , water and patio deck were what we enjoyed most. Absolutely loved the lake. Enjoyed playing cornhole and swimming most of the time. Kids loved the water trampoline. Owners r awesome! Highly recommend this home . U won’t be disappointed !

Family, Family and Family

Wonderful property for a large group. I felt like it didn’t matter what the weather was, we were covered for entertainment. It was beautiful for our stay, so we were in the water and on the pontoon!A couple of things that we had to go to the store for was dish soap and dish washer detergent and toilet paper. I thought the entire home had air conditioning, but it was only the common area. The bedrooms were warm at night. Those couple of things are not criticism, only making aware.Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Beautiful Lake Avalon home- perfect for everyone!

Incredible!!! Stephanie and her family have updated this home beautifully. The way that the living space was utilized and updated could not have been better! This is a 4 season home! There is tons to do outside in the yard and in the rec room in the basement! We were in town for a family event and had a few questions leading up to check in, Stephanie was extremely and efficiently responsive with instructions and reassurance. The home was very clean upon arrival and when entering the home you are greeted with a open layout and a picture perfect view Lake Avalon! We will be renting in the future!!!
