VERY nice two bed room, queen beds, with two bath, extra sleeping area two twin beds. cottage sits on peninsula on Long Lakes South Bay just north of Hillman Mi.
cottage is fully furnished, includes row boat, use of kayaks, paddle boat, motor available to rent, pontoon boats for rent, there's over 150 ft. of private frontage, small swim area, private dock just outside the door to park your boat views from cottage are beautiful, covered porch, picnic table, fire ring,
Long Lake is a beautiful all sports lake, fishing for walleye, northern both large and small mouth bass, pan fish,all right out your door,
Sit on covered porch and watch the loons just a few feet away, often have bald eagles soaring over,
close to Brush creek trails and motor cycle trails, there are great riding trails available for those who want to bring their horses.

A easy day trip to the bridge, or take a day trip over to Petoskey are Traverse City, then return back to the quiet peaceful cottage for a nice camp fire, close to Alpena for shopping or dinning, Thunder Bay Golf Resort just minuets away, also close to Elk Ridge Golf Resort. Great cabin on a cove on Long Lake. Family had a blast renting the pontoon and kayaking on the lake. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Great family trip and will definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Had a quiet and relaxing trip. Host is friendly and the space was perfect for us. Our two dogs were able to hang out and our two kids enjoyed the fishing from the dock and kayaks. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing spot.

Great little place on a beautiful lake. Cabin was spacious for only a 2 bedroom and having 2 bathrooms with teen girls was great. Our golden loved the private beach and dock to chase minnows. We really appreciated being able to bring our pup as I think she enjoyed the lake as much as the rest of us.Kitchen had everything you needed and WiFi was nice as well. Thanks for such a great week and letting us share your cottage!

Perfect Vacation Spot

We just recently stayed at South Bay Cottage and it was amazing! Scott was a wonderful host and easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. The kids were occupied all weekend with the private beach, paddle boat, and kayaks. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip

The cabin was bigger than expected, the pictures dont do it justice. The property was amazing with water basically all around you. And the lake was amazing super clean with great swimming opportunitys both on the property and very close by.

Family vacation

The lake is beautiful and the cottage is located on one of the nicest spots on the lake. Peaceful and not a lot of activity on the lake while we are there so it was like having it all to ourselves.

Great cottage. Excellent location on lake front.

Loved the large lot surrounded by water, Beautiful view. Dogs had plentynof room to run and swim, no neighbors near by to interfere with dogs and privacy (fence along only side not lined by watet frint). Would recommend if you want to vacation with your pets (our labs and kitty loved it)!

Peaceful Getaway

We loved our stay at the cottage on the Peninsula.The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The privacy was great and we were able to let our Corgi run free. He was able to go on the Pontoon with us as well. The option of renting the Pontoon was so nice. Scott was great and the stay was great!

On the south bay of the lake, much quieter , less boat traffic, than the north end, and again the privacy out on the point is one of the things people most often tell us they enjoy,
