Great weekend house for family

Great venue for a family staying the weekend for a wedding. The kids loved the play room upstairs. The house was clean and close to the venue.

Great gathering space

We had a lovely time getting to know our artist friends who came for an ice sculpting class that we held. Great winding down space on the back porch and living riom. Comfortable clean accommodations. Great host!

Wedding weekend

We booked this house to accommodate our family during our son’s wedding weekend in Monroe. The house was spacious with plenty of seating for a large group. The two king size bedrooms were nice. The outside fire pit and grilling area was a hit for our older children to hang out. The bunk room was perfect for our son and all of his groomsmen. All in all a fantastic house for a large group.very convenient to downtown Monroe.

The Perfect Home

This house is very very beautiful. The decor is awesome. I was able to accommodate my family a beautiful cookout and everything I need it was there. The screened in porch was awesome. The host Miss Anna was very attentive to whatever l needed. Thank you very much Miss Anna, for being such a great host.

The grass was not cut, the doors to the outside patio kept getting stuck, the tv in one of the rooms didn’t work, the construction crew had blocked the driveway so we had to move it in order to get in the driveway . There was spiders in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms

Unfortunately, there was a lot of state highway construction on the road in front of the house, and the grass was not cut near the highway. The highway crew is no longer working in that area, and the grass is now cut. New locks were installed after concerns about the patio door handles sticking. Someone unplugged the TV, and spiders make their way in periodically. I went out with Terminex and had them spray the house, even though we did not see any spiders inside.

Beautiful House and Perfect for Large family

The house was big enough for my family of 14 peoples with different age ranges. Everyone had a bed to sleep on during the stay. We didn't do much inside the house but shower and sleep. The house did have everything you will need for your stay. The only 2 little issued that we had during our stay was the air conditioner in the livingroom and the shower temperature in the upstair room with the bunk beds. Somehow it gets really hot in the livingroom area and we tried to change the setting of the temp too but we still couldn't feel any AC. Since we were able to control the big fan, it was able to cool us down. Then, the shower upstairs just doesn't get Hot Hot like the 2 showers downstairs. It's just get to warm. It wasn't a big issued for us to let Anna know because we were only there to shower and sleep.

This is a private farmhouse. It is close enough to downtown for an experience and far enough away for privacy.

What makes this property unique

The setting is beautiful. Inside each room has its own theme There is a separate small cave upstairs which includes full size fun bunk beds. If you are guests at a wedding and looking to have couples bunking fun during a wedding event, or want to separate the kids from adults it is the perfect space.
