Overall an ‘okay’ property with potentials.
Firstly, I'd like to highlight some positive aspects of our experience:
The host appeared friendly and was prompt in responding to our messages.
The interior of the house was clean and tastefully decorated.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon:
Upon our arrival at the property, we noticed a trail of litter scattered around, including trash piles near the garage entrance, patio, deck, and along the pathways. It presented an unwelcoming sight and gave the impression that guest care might have been overlooked. It seems that the accumulation of trash had been ongoing for some time. I did communicate this concern with the host, who apologized and assured us that it would be addressed, but unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved during our stay.
Additionally, there was a shortage of cutlery available on the property. Despite the accommodation being advertised for up to nine adults, there were only enough utensils for four people, and none specifically designed for children. This posed an inconvenience as we had two kids with us. Furthermore, the decorative lemon fruits on the table appeared to have bite marks on them, raising sanitation concerns.
