The cabin was thoroughly deep cleaned 2 weeks prior to your stay, and I personally inspected it. It was in excellent condition. Due to the cabin’s location in a natural, wooded environment, seasonal insects are unavoidable. Our cleaning team removes them during every cleaning and again before guest arrival; however, during certain times of the year they may still enter the cabin seeking warmth. We welcome feedback on matters within our control. Weather, wildlife, and natural elements—including insects—are not within our control. Reviews should reflect the condition of the cabin itself rather than environmental factors that cannot be changed. No matter how hard we try to create a clean, comfortable updated space, some guests will simply have complaints that do not reflect the true value and comforts of the cabin.
