An Enchanting St Helena Country Estate less than 1 mile from downtown and Meadowood Resort. Cross street is Silverado Trail. Enjoy total privacy situated on 2+/- acres of lush gardens and soaring trees. Main house has french doors, master suite and private guest suite with sitting room. There is a 3rd guest room with sunning decks. Guest house overlooks pool/spa, diving platform, bocce ball, putting green and river bank. Winter and Summer Pavilion for indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining! A magical setting which inspires your imagination. Fully furnished! Great for families or a serene couples retreat!

Number of guests is restricted to a maximum of 10. Extra guests will be charged 150.00/each per night.

Wonderful

Wonderful property close to town. We spent a relaxing month in gorgeous St Helena at this Villa like home. After just a few short days it felt like home!

Charming

Billed as "enchanting" and that it was. We were there during 105 degree temperatures, frequently, and the pool was in constant use.

Perfect hideaway close to everything in St. Helena and Napa Valley

I have stayed in the Wine Country retreat twice for a month each time. The home is large ( 3 bedrooms in main house and 1 bedroom in guest cottage) and very spacious. The grounds are expansive for a St. Helena home and located right on the Napa River. The home offers complete privacy with a "out in the country" feel but you are only steps away from everything St. Helena has to offer. The home has a pool with spa. The spa is perfect for a hot soak on a cool Napa Valley evening!

Like a trip to Italy

Our family group loved the stay at Pope Street. The property itself is huge with tons of room and different spaces for relaxing in the shade or sun. It really has the feel of being in an estate in Italy and the house has plenty of room to spread out/cook etc. The dining room in particular made for a number of memorable dinners and the pool/diving board added some additional excitement when needed. St Helena is easily walkable and there are many, many, wineries within a short drive. If you're looking for a quiet break it's a great choice.

A Napa Valley Gem

We loved our month in this lovely home with old world Italian charm. It felt like home. There are great outdoor seating areas, such as next to the pool with first class lounges and umbrellas and wicker chairs on the lawn and porch. There is a fully functional kitchen with everything needed to make a 5 star meal. The layout is good with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The house location is perfect with an easy 15 to 20 minute stroll to Main Street in St. Helena. The host is wonderful and the property is managed in a very professional manner. You are provided with a list of people to call for every issue. The gardening service and pool service are reliably there as advertised. The outdoor areas are beautifully kept up. We hope to stay there again in the near future.

As comfortable as can be

My family and I spend a lot of time in St Helena and have had the pleasure of spending months at a time for years at this St Helena retreat. The property is beautiful, the house and guest house offer all you need for friends and family to enjoy a lovely time away. The location is very convenient to town offering the opportunity to walk back and forth and leave the car at home. The pool and the high dive are a major hit with our kids and their friends. I would recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a warm lovely place to stay in St Helena, CA.

Why they chose this property

We love overlooking the Napa River from our dining room window but yet being just a 15 minute walk to downtown St. Helena shops or to the Meadowood Country club!

What makes this property unique

There is simply no property like this in St. Helena, overlooking the Napa River, with a large L-shaped pool, outdoor dining pavilion and redwood glen onsite! It's a charming country home that you'll want to return to, year after year. In fact, we have numerous returning guests!
