The house was very nice and a great location. However, the master bathroom does not have a door at all, which means absolutely no privacy. We did not like that. The beds could definitely be upgraded, at least adding a mattress topper. New pillows and bedding should also be considered. The listing says that beach equipment is not guaranteed, which implies it might be available. There was not any beach equipment provided (no chairs, wagon, cooler), which added an unexpected expense. The living area of the house is nice and we did really like the location.

The location is amazing. Check in and out was super easy. We had plenty of space for the 6 adults we had on vacation. The only down fall is the starter supplies. We were left one garbage bag and one toilet paper roll per bathroom. Just update your welcome email to advise how many is left so we could have been better prepared and brought our own.

The check in process was a breeze. The house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable also. The outdoor area and pool were wonderful. We communicated with you for the duration of your stay. You communicated to the maintenance line that the headboard was loose. We ensured you that headboards are for decoration and did not change the integrity or safety of the actual bed. You chose to sleep on the couch when the bed was indeed safe to sleep in. We sent the handyman out to fix the issue and he confirmed that the bed was never unsafe to sleep in and that the headboard was strictly cosmetic. You were contacting one of our employees who has text message written to you during your conversation to reach out to the office and provided the phone number. You had a great stay and made memories and we did what we needed to do to take care of you during your stay. Thank you.

Great AMI Location

This property is spacious and ideally located. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the Rod & Reel Pier. The backyard pool area is beautiful. There are four bedrooms so it’s a great place for families. Everything we needed was provided and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Summer fun on Anna Maria Island

Wonderful week on Anna Maria Island. This house is closer to the bay so ocean access a little far, however, we had golf carts and found a shorter beach access. Pool area very lovely and functional for our group. We highly recommend Starfish cottage.

The house was great. We really enjoyed the location. Having the heat pool was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice and clean. There were a few things that could use an update from a renters view the master bedroom mattress (which is were we slept) could be upgraded the other bedrooms had nicer and much more comfortable mattresses. The patio furniture also should be upgraded the table and four chairs are old. The plastic picnic table is falling apart. The lounge chairs were good. Having the grill was really nice to have to cook on. I don’t want to sound critical but they were the things that we noticed. Over all it was a great place.
