Villa located inside a private secure gated ocean front property with only villas and private luxury houses distributed among 70,000 square meters. Gorgeous community filled with an infinite number of tropical manicured gardens and cobblestone streets.

Occupants can enjoy Yacht Club perks: lighted tennis and paddle tennis courts, use of club house, gym, Olympic sized pool and 2 additional gorgeous and endless pools scattered through out the property. Includes access to private 5 star restaurant and bar and free ferry boat only available to yacht club members.

Villa Specifications: This villa has vaulted ceilings with an open floor plan to the terrace and is a 2 minute walk to the club house (restaurant, gym and Olympic pool). 1,800 square feet with patio furniture and small pool.

Fully equipped villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning, washer and dryer, television with DVD player, table and interior seating to accommodate six people. Comes stocked with purified water distributor and drinking water.

Fully furnished kitchen with gas oven and four burner stove top, dishwasher, toaster oven, fridge and all utensils allows the preparation of meals at your convenience. Also includes two ways to brew coffee: French press and coffee percolator.

Wireless internet provided inside villa. Wireless internet also provided at club house and at main pool area.

Location & Things To Do: Perfect for children. Property includes children's pool and playscape.

Great Location!! Walk to the beach!

A 3 minute free boat ride every hour (until 6:30pm) in our club boat to the other side of the marina, where you find a nautical ambiance promenade with restaurants and shops and a public entrance to the beach just crossing the street. Ixtapa stores, boutiques, restaurants and bars are a 5 minute walk from that point.

Taxis can drive you downtown Zihuatanejo for 7 dollars, or buses for 8 pesos (.10 cents of a dollar). Only 4 mile drive to Zihuatanejo where you find Commercial Mexicana for your groceries making this perfect location for your ultimate vacation.

Enjoy 2 golf courses just a few minutes away, swim in a nearby tropical island by a 3 minute boat ride from Playa Linda offering 4 beaches, superior snorkeling and scuba diving.

Nice and quiet location

We had a great time at Porto Ixtapa. The marina boat Sharky was great to get us to the other side to go to the beach. The pools were clean and everybody was welcoming.

So loved our time at Ixtapa Marina. Everything was absolutely awesome. Just not enough words. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great way to end our trip!! Restaurant was good and inexpensive

The grounds around the property are very nice and well taken care of. Beautiful pool area and excellent on site restaurant. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. The unit itself is in need of some repairs, updates and cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great…

During our 7-day stay everything went just fine! The house is super comfy and functional. Porto Ixtapa is a precious condominium, with amazing ocean views and great service (pools, restaurant, gardens). We loved our stay. The only con is the internet speed inside the house… it was almost impossible to do basic activities, like email reading or video viewing.

Lovely but, not the right property for us

It's a lovely area and condo. Having never been I had no idea what to expect. If you have mobility issues then this is not the place for you. The main area does not have AC and the time we were there was an exceptionally hot and humid stretch of weather so ouch. House keeping never arrived. The gentleman at the restaurant was amazing and quite helpful with our needs.

Porto Ixtapa

My wife and I traveled down to Ixtapa from Alaska. The temperature during our stay in February was a steady 85 degrees with 80% humidity. This was pretty warm for us, but Angelas condo had plenty of Fans and air conditioning in both bedrooms. The Condo is Large, Clean and well laid out. The view off the Patio is splendid, you are looking out over the Harbor and have an Ocean view as well.. I am an early riser, so I enjoyed the sunrise every day from inside the condo or on the Patio. The kitchen is well set up, but we mostly ate out as there are many restaurants to try in Ixtapa at good values. The restaurant on site is large, inexpensive and good, and a short walk from the Condo. The property is well manicured and as beautiful as anything in Hawaii. It is very quiet around the facility, with a bit more activity on the holidays. There were half a dozen Canadien couples that we met, but that was pretty much it on site. We are in our 60s, and most of the Canadiens were as well.Mostly we all hung out either in and or around the infinity pool that is a couple hundred feet from Angela's Condo. There are stairs everywhere, and down to Angelas Condo as well. My wife has a prosthetic leg so I was a little concerned, but she had no problem with the stairs. If you have serious mobility issues, this is probably not the place for you, look for a rental on the ground level. There is 24 hour security as well in this gated community. This was a wonderful place, we highly recommend it !

Quiet relaxing area

Overall the marina condo is very good. - Angela the owner was extremely helpful at all times. Our questions were answered very promptly - The kitchen is very adequate for cooking which includes not only the pots, pans, dishes, small appliances but also some spices. - The living room and bedrooms were clean and comfy. There was only one TV which was in the master bedroom. Would of been nice to have one in the living room. - The marina restaurant and staff were excellent and the food was not only good but extremely reasonable, too bad they were closed at 5:00 pm. We would have of gladly ate many dinners there. Massages on site were good and also cheap. The gardens around the area were well kept. - the patio which is South-East facing is extremely hot during the day and we found it unusable till 5:00pm ish. Sitting out on the patio on the evenings was nice. - when it was too hot on the patio, there were a few pool choices especially the closest one which was fantastic! Has a great view of the marina and is very quiet...often to ourselves. - unfortunately, during our stay there was dredging going on in the marina inlets which caused the free boat taxi to shut down at 4:30pm. This made going out to Ixtapa Centro for dinners inconvenient. The dredging also carried on all night. - plenty to do not only in Ixtapa but Zihua.

Quite and Relaxing

Angela is awesome to work with! Makes your vacation careful free! Has beverage in the refrigerator when you arrive! The property is beautiful! We look forward to are stay every year. King beds are very comfortable. Nice size patio for relaxing in the evenings.

El personal de servicio cerró la puerta de la entrada y se trabó la cerradura de tal manera que pasamos encerrados más de una hora sin poder abrir la puerta. Se tuvo que brincar el personal de mantenimiento para poder entrar a romper /con una máquina tipo serrucho.

Great relaxing vacation.

We were looking for a hassle-free and relaxing trip. This is exactly what we found at this property. We were concerned with previous reviews of air conditioning issues but in speaking with the owner prior to our trip it was confirmed that new air conditioners were recently installed as well as new beds in both rooms. It was definitely hot outside but the house stayed nice and cool. The property restaurant was great and very convenient but be aware that they are not open for dinner. We've already scheduled another trip next year and will be staying here again.

AMAZING property - Made me feel like a QUEEN!

This was an unbelievable experience! The owners helped me with so much travel advice before my trip which was very comforting! The entire experience at the property was unbelievable. The service.- the gorgeous property -the views!!! Everything was clean and set up when we arrived. The maid cooked us the most amazing food of fish tacos, cucumber salads, fresh lemonades and juices! SO much better than staying in a hotel! We had the restaurant and pools almost to ourselves most days! Highly recommend if you are looking to some quiet rest and relaxation!

Could have been better

We stayed in this rental property the first week of March for one week. We had four adults vacationing for two weeks. Two weeks prior to our arrival I was notified the air conditioning went out in the second bedroom and could not be fixed before our arrival. I was offered a refund and could find somewhere else to stay, but I declined as it was very short notice. I inquired about a discount, but that was not offered. The condo itself was clean, but could use updates. The second bedroom mattresses (single) were awful. It was like sleeping on pullout couch mattress with no support. The bathroom was extremely small. Not able to open the shower door fully due to hitting the toilet and the shower itself was small. All in all the stay in the second bedroom was miserable (and hot). The information we received prior to arrival was very good. The complex itself was very nice. The pools were great. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch so made daily taxi service necessary as the complex is a little out of the way to the main part of town.

Away from it all and very Romantic!!!

We have stayed at this condo five times. Condo has everything you need to relax and enjoy. The maid Carmen is fantastic! Staff at Porto Ixtapa are helpful and so....friendly! The pools are amazing and quiet. The beaches are beautiful. Angela the owner, has always been so awesome to work with. Thanks again for a great vacation.

Beautiful Property - Would Have Been 5 Star Rating but Hampered by Air Conditioner Problems

We were 2 couples travelling together and we had a wonderful time in Ixtapa. The property was lovely and the housekeeper and cook were delightful. Porto Ixtapa is extremely clean and provides a very relaxing environment. The downside was that we were plagued by air conditioner problems that were not resolved. The only working air conditioner was in the far bedroom so a series of loud fans had to be blasting down the hall trying to cool off the other bedroom. Romantic times were not possible - neither couple were able to have privacy because doors had to remain open for air flow. Porto Ixtapa management purchased an evaporative cooler (swamp cooler) that required both ice and water constantly and did not provide relief. After the swamp cooler was delivered instead of a portable air conditioning unit (as requested) we quite frankly gave up on the issue. Throughout we were in email contact with Angela the owner and we believe she tried her best to work with the management group to fix the problem but at the end of the day it most certainly put a damper on our holiday. We had hoped that Angela would have seen fit to refund a portion of our money for the inconvenience but none of our emails to her were answered once we returned home.
