Enjoy your holidays in the privacy and comfort of this luxurious beachfront condominium with the amenities of a five-star resort. Full access to the Hotel's facilities - same as hotel guests.

The two bedroom condominium has been tastefully decorated and has an unobstructed view of the ocean and the islands from the living room and the master bedroom. The second bedroom overlooks the marina Ixtapa golf course and the mountains. Our fully-equipped kitchen also comes in handy. Wifi access within the condo AND resort, Satellite TV, and a stereo to keep your favorite music playing while you enjoy your favourite drinks on the living room balcony.

2024 January Stay

We found the condo at Tesoro perfect for our needs. It was in a great location with easy access to restaurants and stores. The pool and beach were easily accessed and we spent a lot of time just relaxing in both areas. Requests and questions were answered quickly by both the owners and the housekeeper, Rita.

First time in Ixtapa

Overall the property manager was extremely responsive to any questions or help we needed, which was awesome. Having hotel guests sharing a property with long term condo owners in one place meant it was very busy and noisy especially at the pool and out front at the Cabana’s, which we didn’t take into account or realize.

Great location, great owners

The communication with the owners was great and very helpful. They answered our questions right away and had an onsite housekeeper to assist us to check in (although she doesn't speak English and we don't speak Spanish). The condo is well equipped and the kitchen had more than what we needed. Beach towels were available which was a nice touch. The condo faces the beach and we had a nice view of the ocean. Honestly the condo was fine. I think the only negative would be that the couch was hard as a rock (not that we spent much time on it because we could only got one English channel on the tv). But we weren't there to watch tv anyway, so not a big deal. Overall would recommend it!

The property is a condominium part of the hotel but condominium guests don't have the same options/ access to amenities as the hotel guests. The kitchen ceiling was leaking and made a huge puddle of water, we contacted the owner and never heard back.

The indiference by hotel staff is a cultural thing that will not change

Rita is great and Monica, the owner of the apartment are great at communicating and working with you. However, the staff at the resort have no bedside manners. The attitude of indifference from the bell boys, the front desk people, the security guards, the waiters is beyond unpleasant. I arrived at the resort, and the front desk person acted like it was my problem to resolve how to contact Rita. If the bell boy wouldn't of assisted, the front desk guy would just continue to see me suffer to get some form of contacting Monica and Rita. They ask you to carry around a bracelet for security reasons but it is only so they can discriminate against you for not actually being a paid customer of theirs. They won't give towels at the pool, and they will hound you for a 50 peso, horrible tasting burger because your not an all inclusive customer. Rita even admitted that after being there 20 years, the resort acts like they don't exist. Places like these need to go out of business. The culture will never change unless it hits them where it hurts, their pockets.

Nos hospedamos en Marzo 2024, la pasamos de maravilla, Monica siempre estuvo al pendiente y la señora Rita siempre mantenía limpio el lugar, tiene todo alberca, toallas, cocina y está en la zona hotelera por lo cual es muy fácil ir a pasear. Muy bonito lugar.

Awesome!

Dealing with our hosts was great. Dealing with property manager was great. Hotel staff were great! But the Tesoro is not a quiet resort. Lots of big groups, lots of weddings, lots of kids, lots of outside A/C unit noise. But we had a great time!

Great place and great experience!

It was a great experience. Both Monica and Rita were friendly and flexible and shared very good recommendations for places to visit. The location is great and the condo is super comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to come back.

Very happy with our stay.

The owner, Harry, was very pleasant to deal with. The location of the condo was perfect for us. Right on the beach with lots of activities. Parasailing, banana boat, jetski, golf near by. Lots of restaurants within 10 to 15 minute walk. If we come to Ixtapa again, we'll definitely stay here again.

Monica & Harry were great. Every time I email them about the rental they got right back to me. Very easy to work with. They gave us recommendations for a couple dinner places and breakfast places. We tried them and they were awesome. There was a bellboy that worked in the hotel who called himself Dennis the menace. He was awesome. The beds and furniture was a little hard for our liking though.

The location was great, with a huge beach area. The surf was quite strong, so the beautiful pool area was appreciated. Air conditioning hum from balcony is a bit annoying, but overall the condo was clean, and well kept and appointed≥

Tesoro condo

The owners were pretty easy to deal with though there was confusion about the dates booked until the day before I left. The unit was OK, likely over 20 years old and showing it's age. There were a few little problems; no hot water in the bathroom sink, the shower didn't drain properly, kitchen counter cracked, kitchen faucet was all wobbly and living room furniture was rock-hard. The toilet cracked during our stay but the owner had it replaced quickly. The Tesoro is a family oriented resort and the pool was always crowded and noisy. The hotel's beach area was also busy and loud with competing blue-tooth devices. I wouldn't recommend for couples. However the price was reasonable and overall value pretty good.
