We had a relaxing, quiet stay at Kaibab house. It’s close to the entrance to Capitol Reef, and located on a farm property. The place was clean, had lots of natural light and included all the amenities we needed for our stay. We’d love to stay here again!
Quaint tiny home next to Capital Reef. Everything we needed and super clean! Will definitely stay here again. Our friends we are traveling with stayed in the tiny home next door and they loved it as well! Great surprise when we arrived- turkeys and a peacock welcomed us 😁!!
Super cute and compact house. Seemed very new and had a big bathroom. Not much of a kitchen but it worked. Fun surroundings: pond, fire pits, farm animals (goats, roosters, chickens, & turkeys). Great night views of stars and the Milky Way!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Kaibab tiny home in Torrey. Check-in/check-out was a breeze, the home was immaculate, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. My kids loved petting, feeding the goats on the property. This property was located equidistant between Capitol Reef NP and “downtown” Torrey. We highly recommend this place and stopping by Capitol Burger for an awesome burger after a long day of hiking. 10/10 would stay here again!!!
We like cabins over hotels for many reasons, the main one being the little extra privacy you get. We’ve stayed in many cabin-style accommodations all over the west, these are about average from what we’ve seen; definitely not the best but not the worst either! The only negatives I could mention would be the price (a little on the expensive side), the added fees after booking (with the pet fee added on, their fees more than doubled the original pricing!!!), and the fact that the cabin was stifling hot when we arrived and the HVAC units are not adequate to cool the place down. Outside in the evening is a little noisy; you’ve got peacocks, frogs, people in the other accommodations, etc, but it’s a really nice location and is out of town enough that you feel secluded. We’d stay again if it weren’t for the excessive fees.
I have always wanted to stay in a tiny house, but hadn’t until now. I absolutely loved my experience at the Kaibab House! It has an adorable front porch, feels spacious inside, is decorated beautifully and tastefully, and was immaculately clean. It is on a beautiful property where you can take hikes into BLM land and feel like you are in the National Park with the gorgeous views. There were also adorable goats to watch by the house across the road and a cute play area of you have kids. The house has everything you need: extremely comfortable beds, a cute kitchen, a spacious and lovely bathroom, and an adorable loft. The house is an easy 10 minute drive from the park and back to Torrey. Cindy, the host, was kind, helpful, and very easy to communicate with. I had a wonderful solo retreat here and am excited to come back with my husband and son to stay in this wonderful home. Thank you so muc, Cindy, and I hope to be back very soon!
This is a waste of time as the only reviews that are posted are fake. Don’t stay here the owner is a liar. We had an ok stay until we arrived home to an email asking for an additional cleaning fee. We had already paid a substantial fee to have pets. What is that for? The owner was belligerent immediately when I pushed back on the extra fee. Her threat about giving me a bad review is meaningless. I will spend the rest of my life telling everyone I met to stay away from Vrbo and in particular Cindy. Nice hosting Cindy. 45 mins ago I was reasonably satisfied with my stay.

We expect pet owners to clean up after their pets and be responsible pet owners. Gord had two dogs and left all poo bags outside on the patio for us to clean up. The house was also left a disaster causing us to have to replace all linen. We tried washing several times and still could not get the stains from the animals out. I charged Gord only an extra $50 afterwards threatening me that his bad review would destroy our year and said we were scamming him. Gord is not welcome back and anyone who cannot respect the property and be a decent pet owner is also not welcome. We take pride in our rentals and offer great service and accommodations. We will continue to do so.
