About this property

Beautiful, Pet-Friendly, 3 Bed Townhome 2 blocks to beach, Quiet Location

Everything that Dewey/Rehoboth Beach has to offer is all within walking distance of this wonderful, large, updated, end-unit townhome. The house is just two blocks from the beach (NOT on route 1), one block from the bay and one block from the many bars and restaurants in Dewey Beach. Rehoboth Beach is a 1 mile walk, drive or bike ride. With the home's close proximity to all of the above, you can go back and forth as you please, but the location is in a quiet spot with no road / bar noise.

Kitchen/First Floor
The entire house has been extensively updated in recent years with a first floor and kitchen remodel now complete! The newly remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, new cabinets and appliances and new flooring. The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer with ice making machine, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, crockery & cutlery.

Our oversized living room has a large TV, two couches (one is a a pull-out couch that sleeps two) as well as two cozy chairs. The full-size washer and dryer are located in a closet on the main level and there is a half bath on this level (as well as an outdoor shower).

Bedrooms
This home features an oversize master suite with full bath, walk-in closet and TV. The master has one king bed and one queen bed (with still plenty of room to get around). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a double bed and a twin. In addition, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom has single bunkbeds and a bedside table with still plenty of closet space for clothing. Please note, however, that this is not considered a bedroom and there is no window in that room.

Deck/Patio
Finally, the home has a newly redone patio where you can sit and relax in the evening after a long day at the beach or golf course. There is a table with seating for 6 and a comfortable lounge chair. There is a full-sized, stand-up charcoal grill as well. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off the sand and sea.

Activities
In addition to the sun and fun on the beach and the bay, Delaware is famous for its tax-free shopping. This house is just a 10 minute drive from Rehoboth's three outlet malls and many other shops and restaurants. Golf is 10 minutes away at one of the many golf courses in the area. Some of the best restaurants in the area are only minutes from our home--please ask us for recommendations!

The property was perfect and our dogs loved ttheir first beach experience. Communication with tour host was clear, prompt and very accomodating. The bedrooms are spacious and the living space was wonderful to socialize and relax. Highly recommend booking this property!

Place was spacious and very clean. Traveled with 3 adults and 2 kids and was room for everyone to spread out. Walk to beach is pretty easy. Very walkable to restaurants and anything else.

Comfortable house with plenty of room! Very walkable area with the beach, restaurants and shops nearby. It's also a great area for dogs and we met plenty of friendly neighbors. We really enjoyed the welcoming vibes of Dewey Beach and the house was the arranged perfectly for our visit! We loved having dinner together on the back deck too. The extras like paper towels, laundry soap, toilet paper and other necessities are a thoughtful touch.

Great Place!

Stayed for the weekend with family. Property was very homey, comfortable, and clean. Have to cross the highway to get to the beach, but is otherwise in a good location and easy walk to coffee shops restaurants and bars.

Great family stay.

This was our second visit to the area, and it was much better this time because we chose this property. One of its best features is the location, an easy walk to the beach and near local restaurants and shops, but in a quiet neighborhood. The property itself is very nice, will all features and amenities just as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay and found it to be a good value.

Perfect beach spot.

Off season perfection

With a large group and a dog, we found the perfect getaway in Allison's home. She was very informative, the house was immaculate, and we had all the amenities to make our stay extremely comfortable. Perfect location to the beach and bay, we had a wonderful week here.

Quiet and spacious

The house was very clean and the location was great for access to the beach and downtown. It was also set back enough that there was very little noise from cars or Dewey nightlife. The host was very responsive concerning the property and parking.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a group of 10 who had a great time renting for Memorial Day weekend. It was the perfect location and was accessible to everything including the beach, nightlife and restaurants. We loved using the grill and back porch. It was also great to have two convenient parking spaces right out front. Would highly recommend!

Secluded back porch

We loved many aspects of this property: the back porch felt secluded due to large trees behind the house, the inside was very clean with nice flooring & amenities plus 2 &1/2 baths. Beach chairs & toys were supplied. As an end unit, we also liked the side yard for the dogs. Hope to stay again next year.

Great house!

Awesome house in a convenient location. 3 minute walk to the Starboard, and just 3 blocks to the beach. Plenty of beds, very clean, and great parking options as well. Dewey is notoriously challenged for parking, but there are sections on Swedes you can park on without a permit if you have guests coming down. The owner is very responsive as well. Highly recommended, will be returning next year.

A great pick!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this house. It was incredibly spacious and more than able to accommodate our group of 8 as well as visitors throughout the week. The kitchen included everything we needed and we really appreciated having the on-site laundry. The beach chairs and umbrella they provided were a wonderful perk as well. The grill was a little on the small side but the rest of the amenities far outweighed this small inconvenience. Located within easy walking distance of the beach as well as all of the bars and restaurants, this turned out to be an ideal vacation home.

Perfect Family Spot

We had a wonderful stay in Dewey! The home was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space, walking distance to everything you would need, and great amenities. The outdoor shower and access to beach supplies in the home were an added bonus. The beach cart was essential when traveling with a 2 year old and all her gear. We were also able to bring our pups who loved that they could enjoy the beach as well. The home owners were very responsive and answered all my questions. My mom wants to make this an annual family trip now that we’re adding another member and we hope that we can reserve this home every year!

Great place

We enjoyed and had fun during our stay. Thanks to our host who is very nice and friendly. No issues checking in and instructions are straight forward. She helps us find places for activities and recommend restaurants that’s suitable to our liking. Place is very clean with lots of rooms. It’s a nice house and well decorated that makes you feel comfortable and feels like home. The beach, restaurants, and activities are 10-15 minutes walking distance and close to Rehoboth beach as well. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Over all, our first experience at Dewey is wonderful with the help of our host. I highly recommend it.

We are a young-ish couple that enjoys being close to the water and away from the concrete of the city! Our favorite things to do in Dewey drinking orange crushes at the Starboard (ok, I can only handle one), riding our bikes through the area, reading a book on the beach, shopping at the outlets and relaxing by the fireplace in the fall evenings!

Why they chose this property

There is nothing like Dewey Beach! Given its small size, everything in Dewey Beach is within walking distance and there is a lot to do contained within a 12 block stretch, including boating on the bay, eating at any number of restaurants, enjoying the bars and waterfront 'watering holes' that Dewey is famous for, relaxing on the beach or taking a long walk through the state park just down the road. Rehoboth Beach is next door offering endless shopping, more restaurants and bars, and entertainment and activities.

What makes this property unique

I have been vacation at Dewey since I was born. There's something about Dewey that makes me exhale and relax the moment I get there! Dewey takes all your cares away! This house is intended to help you do that--it provides you everything you need but is ocated close to everything fun you look forward to doing on a beach vacation!
