This beautifully decorated, multi-level home, is located on 5-acres in the tall pines of Kaibab National Forest. Nestled in Parks midway between Flagstaff and Williams, this location allows easy access to many attractions such as National Parks, hiking trails, ski slopes, museums, etc. You can also just relax on the porch or play yard games. This is not your typical commercial rental unit! It's our family vacation home that we lovingly decorated with antiques gathered through the years. We would be delighted to have you stay here and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The Space: Welcome to Mountain Time Manor! Our home is the perfect choice for groups, families or gatherings of friends looking for a comfortable place to stay. With 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths and two generous common areas, you'll have plenty of room to relax and unwind.
When you turn onto the Forest Service Road, there will be two gates to open. There might be cows on the National Forest land. If the gates are open, leave them open. If the gates are closed, kindly close them behind you and drive on up to park in the 4-car driveway or the expansive 2-car garage, there is also additional parking available anywhere on the gravel.
When you come into the house through the garage, you can drop your coats and boots off in the mudroom. The laundry room right next door is equipped with a full size washer, dryer, ironing board and full bath. Walking into the main house, you will find a spacious, fully stocked kitchen, breakfast nook and adjacent dining room. Down the hall is a full bathroom and three guest rooms, affectionately named the Cowboy Room, the Ansel Adams Room and the Band Room. In accordance with the antique decorating style, all the beds are full sized because that was the only size in the olden days.
The living room hosts an old wood burning stove that keeps the majority of downstairs warm. The entire house is climate controlled with AC and heater as well. The stairs lead up to the large second story living area with two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a kitchenette, perfect for lounging, watching movies or playing games. One room has two double beds and the other has two twin beds. Both rooms upstairs have cozy window nooks for reading, watching wildlife or just enjoying the scenic views of the forest. Due to the stairs, please understand the second level is not recommended for mobility impaired persons.
At the foot of the stairs, you will find the master bedroom. This is where you'll find a convenient workspace with a tabletop computer, fast speed internet and a printer available for your use. The attached custom master bath boasts a claw foot bathtub to soak and relax from the day's activities.
You can go straight out the front door to relax on the wrap around porch, read on the porch swing or play bowling ball croquet in the front yard. Speaking of the outdoors, our home offers a large sandstone patio designed for social gatherings with a table, plenty of seating, a fire pit and BBQ grill for your enjoyment. You'll notice an original historic building built in the 1800's opposite the driveway. There's also an original outhouse to go with it. Though you can't take a peek inside, please enjoy our own little piece of Arizona heritage from the outside.
The hosts are just a quick phone call away if you should need anything...
Guest Access:
You will enter through the side garage door. The home utilizes a key lockbox. Codes are emailed with check-in instructions by VRBO 48 hours prior to arrival.
Other Things to Note:
Please keep dogs on leash when outside at all times. Although the property is entirely fenced, it is not secure enough to keep dogs in. Our neighbors have livestock and we cannot risk dogs chasing them or the cows that graze on forest land across the road.
In the winter time, Old Highway 66 and Spring Valley Road are plowed by the County road crews. Forest Service 440 Road is plowed by the residents who live along the road. We will clear Forest Service 440 Road and the driveway of snow before you arrive but in the chance that it snows while you are staying here, guests can either drive over the snow or clear the snow with shovels provided in the shed. Be aware that when snow melts, it turns to ice overnight, so be careful walking and driving. Behind the garage, there is a shed where you can find a snow shovel, broom and squeegee for snow removal.

These guests were experienced travelers. They communicated extremely well and followed the check in and check out process perfectly. The house was left in very good condition. You or any of your guests are welcome back anytime.
Our stay at the house was amazing! The hosts allowed us to have our wedding ceremony there, and the views were beautiful. The house was very clean, the hosts were very communicative and answered all our questions. At the house, we had many activities such as yard games, puzzles, board games, and plenty of books for kids. I also love that there were baby items on hand, and pet items (even though we did not have use for those). Just be cautious of the many steps and stairs; we definitely got our leg workout!

We had a wonderful time and found the home to be very family-friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

This group were wonderful guests. We emailed back and forth before their arrival and worked out the details. They left the house in great shape, They read the info booklet because they left the beds, linens and towels as requested. They also took care of the trash as requested which is much appreciated. They are welcome back anytime.
This house and property is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. We hosted a small wedding here and it was the perfect venue. The host was super responsive to any questions and even cleared the road ahead of our visit to accommodate our large motorhome.Highly recommend this house for events or even a family reunion or vacation!

It was a pleasure to work this bride in preparation for her wedding day. She had a few requests as we did as well and it all worked out, even the weather. She was very responsive to any email/text I sent. They left the house and property in great shape and placed the trash right where it belongs. Ashley is welcome back anytime as well as any of her guests.
We absolutely loved this one-of-a-kind home near Williams, AZ! The home is full of unique antiques that give it so much character and charm—it’s like stepping into a cozy, historic treasure trove while still feeling modern and comfortable, there was so much to look at and a garage full of fun games to play.Sitting on a generous 5 acres, the land feels private yet peaceful, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It’s surprisingly close to town (super convenient for dining, shops, and Route 66 vibes), and the nearby trails are fantastic for UTV riding—we had a blast exploring them. This place is ideal for families: lots of space, multiple rooms, and bathrooms, and that welcoming, homey feel that made it easy to relax and enjoy quality time together. We all agreed it was a highlight of our trip. The host was outstanding—very communicative, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful, which made everything run perfectly. No issues at all.Highly recommend this special spot for anyone wanting a unique, memorable stay near the Grand Canyon / Route 66 / Williams area. We can’t wait to come back!

Thank you for the nice review. Indeed it was a pleasure to host your group. Thank you reading through the instruction booklet, you followed it perfectly. Thank you for driving the UTV's courteously on the forest roads. Enjoyed chatting with you on your inquiries. Come on back whenever you can.
The host was so helpful and friendly and very accommodating to us and our event. We had our wedding there and it was absolutely perfect! Would recommend 10/10!!! House was incredible.
The home and property were beautiful and welcoming. Plenty of space for my family to relax and have a great time! In the words of my 4 year old niece, “this house is amazing”.

Wonderful guests. Communicated well, followed the instruction booklet, left the house in very good condition at check out. Your 4 year niece is always welcome back, hopefully her entire family comes back too.
Went for our family Christmas celebration and polar express. Although no phone reception, we enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of room inside and outside kids had fun on the property. Planning on going back again soon.
The host is very communicative and friendly. The house is just beautiful and it fit our party of 7 with ease. Wonderful antiques everywhere, but don’t be fooled - it has tons of modern amenities that made our stay perfect. From the instant we opened the front door it felt inviting and cozy. We didn’t even get to the fun stuff in the super clean and organized garage because we were so happy inside of the house! There is lots to do, a ton of table space for eating and playing games, the kitchen is fantastic and made making meals for the family a cinch. The bedrooms are cozy with even more antiques, the bathrooms are super clean and modern. I do wish some more of the antiques had a card or placard giving the time period and some fun facts, but that in no way detracts from the ambience - that’s just to satisfy my own curiosity. The landscape is lovely and it was very quiet. The checkout process was very simple and straightforward. I highly recommend this rental, we had an amazing 3 days there.

The guests were indeed a pleasure to host. Very clean, read the info notebook, communicated easily. Even removed their own trash. WOW!! I hope you come back often since you have children living in the area.
This property is so impressive. Not only is the house built with attention to quality - great flooring and fixtures, sturdy, finish work superb - the care taken in decor is another level. Antiques! Genteel western all the way through. What a way to enjoy the area! We'd love to enjoy it again.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! This home was absolutely perfect—not only for our wedding weekend but also for hosting our reception. The setting is beautiful, private, and had plenty of space for our family and friends to gather comfortably. The patios and outdoor areas created the most amazing backdrop, and we were able to dance, celebrate, and enjoy the mountain air all evening long.Inside, the house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The layout worked so well for both relaxing downtime and entertaining. The owners were so kind, responsive, and easy to work with, which gave us peace of mind during such an important weekend. We’ll always remember this house as the place where we celebrated becoming husband and wife. If you’re looking for a Flagstaff getaway or a gathering spot for something special, this Vrbo is truly a gem. We’re so grateful to have found it and can’t recommend it enough!

This couple rented our property for a wedding reception. They read and followed our guide book, took care of the trash as asked and exactly followed the check out procedure. We requested they rent a portable toilet for the day of the event which they did without a complaint. They cleaned up after the event and left the house in tip top shape. I certainly hope they come back for their anniversary celebration.
This is one the best places we've stayed at. It had plenty of rooms for our family of 13 and super spacious. The best feauture was the patio where we spent most of our time cooking and around the campfire. The house provided tables and chairs that we were able to set up to all have breakfast and dinner together outside. We felt safe and the kids enjoyed running around the property grounds. There was also a nearby short trail that led us to amazing mountain views. This home is great for families and perfect relaxing place to disconnect from the outside world. The home also provided the main necessities. The decor was very unique and nice to look at. The owner, Don, was pleasant to talk to. He was very nice and always available.

Zaira and her family were wonderful guests. She communicated well, it was apparent she read the instruction notebook and she followed the checkout procedure precisely. She and her family are welcome back anytime.
Our family enjoyed all areas and aspects of this very beautiful and spacious home. With 14 of us, the 4 restrooms were a major plus. The kitchen has everything you need and more, our breakfasts were wonderful, and the grill and Blackstone flattop were put to use for big dinners. We played games (ping pong, corn hole, connect four, foosball, cards, taboo), cooked, hung out, sat around the fire and made smores, we enjoyed the outside weather and spent time with each other for a change. Without even expecting it, we engaged with each other in a way we never expected. No phones, without asking. I love old, history and antiques, and in my own words, this home is decorated so beautifully that it is inspiring and jaw-dropping. I'm so glad that Don and his family have decided to share their home and that we got to experience it. Their way of styling and details around all corners made my heart smile and took my breath away. Dancing on the patio and enjoying the evening together, all because we picked the right home!! I promise, you won't be disappointed with your choice here. As for us, we will definitely be back!!Don, Emily, and Mrs. Don, thank you for the wonderful time in your beautiful home!!

What a very nice review!! Thank you for booking Mountain Time Manor. Your group was a pleasure to host. The house was left in great shape. Thank you for placing the trash where requested, this may seem like a minor request but you'd be surprised what we sometimes find. You were the first group to use our secret, hidden single bedroom, I hope whoever used it enjoyed the solitude. Glad you took advantage of all the games, a couple more will be added real soon. You or any of your guests are welcome back anytime.
