We just came back from a week at this wonderful house in Asheville. There were two families so eight total. Our 21-year-old boys loved the downstairs basement. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub and also the house was the perfect size for our two families. We would definitely recommend this house. I will say the owners take great pride in their house.

This was by far one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. So clean and nice. All the people staying here were so impressed with this house. One of people staying with us tried moving over for another vehicle on the driveway and drove into a ditch and when i tell you the kindness and help the neighbors showed us, just such a great little area. Lots of love to Ali and Carrie. I would 10000 percent stay here again and recommend this place not only for its gorgeous location and clean and beautiful space, but also for the kind and welcoming neighbors who came to our aid. And we got to see some bears so that was cool. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay for our family gathering. The house was amazing and the property offered lots of fun activities for every age, as well as a great yard. It felt tranquil while still being within an easy drive to all of the activities we wanted to take part in downtown. I would definitely highly recommend this property if you are looking at it for your trip! The owner was easy to communicate with and the process of check-in/out was seamless.

The Roost was perfect for our family get-together. Bedrooms very comfortable & baths set up well for sharing. The lower level foosball, card table & the hot tub were top hits!The Roost is very spacious with many unique structural & decorative touches, surrounded by a mix of landscaping & native trees. Very convenient for sightseeing in the mountains & visiting with more family in Asheville area.

The property and house are great and nicely secluded while still close to everything. Had a minor house fix needed and the hosts jumped on it very quickly and had it resolved without any disruption. We would highly recommend to families and others!

Family Trip to NC!

Great weekend with friends

I booked this cabin with a group of friends for a bachelor weekend. Rich was communicative, the cabin was beautiful, and the amenities were fantastic.The cabin feels isolated and private, yet Asheville is only a short drive away. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Enjoyed the Roost

Beautiful cabin in the woods! Fantastic deck for hanging outside. Great for kids and dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and made s’mores by the fire! Location is not too far from downtown Asheville, Biltmore or Sierra Nevada. We will recommend to our friends and family and will stay here again!

Fun cabin

House is great for a lot of guest and entertaining. Only complaint I have is there was mold inside the washing machine.

Hey Emily, I should put a note on the washing machine, but that spot has been heavily bleached, and so it's not actually still moldy. It simply stained the rubber ring around the machine, which is why we have advised guests to leave the machine open after using it to avoid this in the future. I'm very happy you enjoyed your stay!

Excellent Home for Asheville Visit

The Root was the perfect location for our family gathering in Asheville. We loved everything about the house. It had everything we needed, it was cozy and well appointed. We had a ton of fun in the game room - cozy movie watching, fierce pool tournament, football, you name it. I highly recommend this well cared for property.
