Quiet hilltop neighborhood with mountain views and frequent aurora visits. We have a dog sled tour company just down the road and walking trails right from the home. Chena River State Recreation Area is a short driving distance away, and Chena Hot Springs is approximately an hour drive. Both Fairbanks and North Pole are about a 15 minute drive.



Plenty of parking at the home. The driveway is up a bit of a hill, so in the winter 4x4 or all wheel drive is recommended. Feel free to walk our roads and designated trails out from the back yard.

Home in Alaska

Our family spent Spring break in Alaska for 6 days in total, and we are from Georgia. After we had long drive all the way from Anchorage, we were so tired and exhausted but soon we got here, we were surprised by this beautiful home. It was clean and giving you home feeling. We spent 2 nights here, neighbors were quiet and location is great, close enough for other activities like dog sledding and ice fishing. We had comfortable stay. Thank you Tim and Sarah.

Beautiful views and Comfy Home

We loved our stay this December, Aurora at night and the dusky sunset over the Denali mountain range during the few hours of sunlight, it was stunning. We even saw a mama moose and her baby in the front yard! The location was lovely. The bed was big and comfy, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked with anything you might need! I also loved the incredibly soft/plush bath towels, very nice touch. The kitchen could prepare a 5 star meal with the nice appliances, cookware, and spices/ ingredients stocked. Although we brought tons of hand warmers, they even had extra packs in the drawer. Much appreciated when it gets down to -20F. The living room has a great comfy couch for cozying up and watching a movie on the huge TV when it’s too cold to go out. They truly thought of everything to make our stay very homey and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back again!
