We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We do want to clarify a few points, as several of the concerns mentioned in your review were not brought to our attention during your stay. Our pest control service was at the property that same day. Finding an occasional dead palmetto bug can unfortunately happen, particularly in a first-floor unit in Florida. The purpose of pest control is to eliminate these pests, so while we certainly understand that seeing one is unpleasant, finding a dead one means the treatment is doing its job. Regarding the mattresses, comfort and firmness are very much a matter of personal preference, and we understand that what works well for one guest may not be comfortable for another. You did not report the leaking shower fixtures or the mildew inside them during your stay. Had we known about these issues, we would have gladly had them inspected and addressed, including taking the fixtures apart for a thorough cleaning if maintenance needed to. As for the closet doors, no previous guests have reported that any of these doors were falling off or had similar issues. If you had contacted us, we would have been happy to have someone come out to inspect and repair them during your stay. We always encourage guests to contact us when something needs attention. We respond quickly and would much rather have the opportunity to correct an issue while our guests are here than learn about it after checkout. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly inspect these items.
