Messed up weekend
First of all, this owner is not right.They canceled my reservation and lied and said my original booking had maintenance damage at 4:15. I do not believe this. So he gives us another house and it was dirty, stinky, pool was filthy!! I booked my original house because of the lake. We wanted to be on the lake. I was soooo upset that he cancelled our reservation at 4:15!!!!!!!! Who does that!!! It is unacceptable. So I called VRBO and they were very accommodating. I got a credit but I had to rebook on VRBO with certain criteria that had to be met.I spent two hours back and forth on the phone with VRBO and the host trying to find a house. We finally got a house. IT was better than the first house we were offered after he cancelled my reservation. This house had no face towels, the beds upstairs were awful to sleep in, and ants were crawling. I texted them to tell them we had no face towels, they said towels are personal items. If that was the case, why were there towels there to begin with??? All of this jus ruined my weekend. I am soooooo upset and disappointed in this host. He was not fair. And then he charged me extra!!! I deserved a break from all of the headache and stress I had to go through!!
