The Colony also offers a Recreational Hall on site for activities and games, as well as a small clay tennis court. Both buildings are so well preserved the entire colony takes its place in the National Register of Historic Homes. A favorite shared amenity is of course, the in-ground pool !

With 3 full beds and 3 twin beds, & 2 Full Baths, it comfortably accommodates large families or groups of friends. The cottage features modern amenities like WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and all that's needed to prepare wonderful meals, ensuring a convenient stay. As you enter the cottage, you are greeted by the kitchen, which leads to the oversized living area with natural light, and high ceilings, complete with a sunporch! You'll also find two bedrooms and one bath on the main floor. On the second floor, you will find the 3 remaining bedrooms, full bath, and a 2nd story balcony deck, with views of the ocean and pool ! The grand front porch is perfect for capturing cool breezes and exceptional sunset views! There is water access beyond the pool, should you decide to bring your kayaks or rent them. Harpswell still maintains its rich working waterfront and has so much to offer all who live here and visit ! From beach areas, hiking trails, great restaurants, and unique shopping, you'll have no reason to leave the peninsula ! We of course have the plentiful fresh lobster right off the boat throughout the town!

Harpswell is conveniently located 20 minutes from Brunswick, take the train from there and travel the Maine coast. Brunswick is also home to Bowdoin College, which offers the Maine State Music Theatre, with superb productions, and museums to enjoy ! Close to Portland, and Freeport, home of LL Bean, many outlet shops, and restaurants. Driving distance to Popham Beach…the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine, along with historical forts to explore. Bath, Phippsburg, Boothbay Harbor, and Bar Harbor all all great day trips! So many sights to see in and around Harpswell !
