Our family vacation at Deerwoods was phenomenal! Cupp Run was right down the street-it’s basically ski in/out. The house was superb-great rooms, kitchen, amenities and communication with Diane was beyond what I expected. I would 10/10 rent again. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time. The home is fully stocked for a large family to enjoy. Any issues we had were minor and the host responded quickly and gave great support. Highly recommend for a Snowshoe vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deerwoods! The name is appropriate as we had the pleasure of watching and feeding deer every day! The location is perfect and the shuttle service is very convenient. Accommodations were perfect! So clean and spacious!
We absolutely loved this house. Our family of 10 from two different states traveled to meet up half way and have a lovely ski weekend. The house was well stocked and decorated very nicely for a cozy stay. We had enough firewood to have a fire going most days and it put out great heat for us on some very cold windy winter days. The beds were very comfortable which is a plus for some of us with bad backs. The mud room entry was very convenient and so was the shuttle. We only had to wait about 10 mins for the pick up after we called. The views are to die for off the back deck and you can see them in the house pretty much everywhere. There is a second living room downstairs but we didn't use it much. We all were very comfortable on the main floor. The hot tub was a great plus after a long day of skiing. Thanks for opening your lovely home to us! We had a great time.
Walk to the slopes is one of the nicer properties we have stayed at on snowshoe mountain. The kitchen is amazing and has EVERYTHING we needed to cook and celebrate. The coffee/wine bar was so helpful. Diane is an amazing host and took care of everything. She is most responsive and took care of whatever came up. She also provided us with a well stocked starter of beverages. The beds are very comfortable and the living spaces are conducive to cozy gathering. There was plenty of firewood. The parking was great. We had plenty of room. We got quite a bit of snow while there and had no issues. We all have either all wheel and 4 wheel vehicles and had no issues. We were there a little early in ski season and cup run was not open , so we couldn’t walk to slopes. However , when cup is open, the location is amazing. The shuttle comes right to the house and our ski people used that to get to the slopes. The house is very nice , clean , up to date and well stocked. We would definitely stay there again. Diane was wonderful and patient.

My family (6 adults, 3 children) spent a week at Snowshoe this year as a change from years vacationing at Kiawah Island, SC. The mountains would really be different, we thought. The week averaged 80 degrees and the home has no A/C. We learned this in a casual email from the host the day prior to arrival, instructing what we could do to cool off the house, using provided fans and opening windows. In defense of the owner, the property did not list A/C as a “Comfort”, but we had never rented a property anywhere which did not have air conditioning and did not even realize that VRBO lists one of the amenities as “Comfort”, where Heat and AC are listed. We spent the first day doing everything that was suggested, as none of the fans were left running and nothing seemed to help. The cell service is virtually nonexistent on the mountain, which we soon learned and the hot water was somewhat limited also. We also found out there was a music festival at the end of our week which drastically limited our ability to enjoy many of the things we were looking forward to at the resort. On the plus side, the house was clean, the kids enjoyed feeding the white-tailed deer that showed up each day, the location and scenery were great, the beds were comfy, kitchen was very well stocked, there were plenty of towels and the host was very attentive.
Awesome place, well equipped kitchen, tons of room, rustic but updated, hot tub and views from the deck are amazing. Very short walk to get right on Upper Cupp. Host was great and we had a wonderful trip. Thank you!
