Located along Florida's beautiful Nature Coast and nestled in the tranquil Ozello Keys this beautiful pet-friendly island home on the St. Marten's river is perfect for fisherman, kayakers, scallopers, and nature lovers. So much to do and right in the middle of it all! The remodeled main level has contemporary kitchen with bar stools around a big center island for dining and entertaining. The oversized Arcadia-style sliding glass doors offer stunning sunrise and water views and open out to the porch and back patio. There you'll find the propane grill, a large 5-person hot tub, lounge chairs, kayaks and your own private dock. Watch dolphins swimming 20 feet off the dock and see many of Florida's variety of sea birds. Take the kayaks or go fishing right from the dock. You can enjoy a relaxing hot tub- perfect for sunrises and sunsets! The dock has a fish cleaning station and a crab basket. Guest are welcome to bring a boat and tie-up at the dock, but only shallow-draft boats can navigate the local waters. Boats can be launched across the street at the Ozello Keys Marina since the launch ramp on property is not in service. Boat trailers can be parked at the property however since there is plenty of driveway parking. The marina is 150 yards away and sells live bait, tackle and beer. They offer fishing, scalloping and airboat tours. Also walking distance up the street is Backwater Fins- an outstanding bar and grill with excellent seafood. Or hit the Outpost Tiki-Bar for excellent home cooked food and cold beverages- it's a locals favorite. While here you can ride bikes, take a walk, go kayaking, go kayak fishing, charter a fishing tour, take an airboat ride, go scalloping, hit the Nature park in Homosassa, or hit any of dozens of restaurants in Crystal River or Homosassa. Or stick around and fish from the dock, catch blue crabs and then cook them in the kitchen! Across the bay (and 5 minutes by car) find John Brown's public boat launch which provides access to Homosassa, St. Marten's River, the Salt River and the Gulf of America. At the very end of Ozello Trail find Pirates Cove boat launch and another restaurant called Peck's Cove.
