This was the most beautiful place I have ever been. The views are amazing! Even better than the pictures! The pool is grear, the host communicated well, and the house is spacious and well stocked with towels, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. You can eat fruit off of the trees in the yard and the trail is awesome too! We definitely want to come back!
We had a wonderful stay. The kids loved the pool and ping pong table. It’s also a great location. We were able to do a day exploring Old San Juan, and a day exploring El Yunque. Host was very helpful and responsive.
We loved being in the rainforest. So beautiful and peaceful. The house was great for us. It is a bit of a drive from beaches. We planned our days carefully, left after breakfast and didn't return until evening most days of our stay.
Nice relaxing stay overlooking the rain forest. We had stayed closer to beaches in the past so this was a nice change. Still not too bad a drive to most resources ( look out for those mountain roads!)
We had a great stay! The house was very clean, and the host was always prompt and helpful with responses. The views were absolutely amazing and made the drive worth it. The home was well-equipped with a washer and dryer, plus thoughtful extras like a cooler, beach chairs, and a wagon, which came in handy for our beach trips. One thing to keep in mind is that it takes about 20 minutes to drive up and down the hill, and the drive is not for the faint of heart. The roads are narrow, steep, and winding, so be prepared if you're not used to mountain driving. That said, the breathtaking views definitely made it worthwhile. The only minor downside was that the water pressure and power could get a bit low when multiple things were being used at once. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking for beautiful views and a peaceful getaway.
We had a great stay. The property was exactly as pictured and super clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Considering the rainforest location, we were pleasantly surprised that we had no issues with bugs during our stay. The host was fantastic: responsive, helpful, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. The only thing that caught us off guard was the drive up to the property. If you’re arriving after dark, prepare yourself for what feels like a combination of a mountain-climbing expedition. The roads are very narrow, and some of the hills seem to go straight up into the clouds! We were laughing the whole way and joking that we had accidentally signed up for an amusement park ride. By the second trip up, though, it felt much less intimidating.Overall, the views and peaceful setting were absolutely worth the adventure. We’d definitely stay here again!
Our 3 boys aged 6-10 loved the place. Beautifully sat on the hill so you can see for miles. The sunset is beautiful there, and the boys loved swimming in the pool. We used the kitchen, laundry and all other amenities in our week stay and ran into no problems at all. Bonus points for the neighbor's dog which was very handsome and friendly. The beds were comfortable.
If you are looking for peace and tranquility for a semi large group, this is it. We had 11 family members and had the perfect amount of space. The area is somewhat secluded, not super close to neighbors or stores, which is what we were looking for. The perfect sound of nature is what you are surrounded with. The owner's are very responsive and an absolute pleasure. I will defiantly stay again.
If you looking for a gateway this is the home to go to , You’re literary on top of a mountain and the view Was beautiful from every angle ..this home had more then enough space to hold a family 13 comfortable … definitely looking forward to returning again ….
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Toro Views and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The communication with our hosts, Kevin and Niko, was outstanding. They provided clear instructions and were always available to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. The villa was exactly as described, clean, and well-maintained. We particularly appreciated the detailed check-out instructions and the thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. Highly recommend Toro Views for anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable getaway!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning tropical house, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by lush greenery, breathtaking El Yunque views, and a charming home that felt like paradise. The house itself was immaculate—spacious, well-decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay but bit old. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The bedrooms were cozy and airy, with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. One of the highlights was the private pool and outdoor lounge area. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, taking a dip in the pool, or enjoying the sounds of nature, every moment felt like a true escape from reality. The location was also ideal—secluded enough for privacy but close enough to local restaurants, beaches 40 mins away, and activities. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. I highly recommend this tropical retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Can’t wait to return!

Hello, I am Kevin, and I am from Rochester, NY. I want guests to know that I'm not just offering a place to stay, but an experience deeply rooted in my personal journey. I moved to Puerto Rico a few years ago. Falling in love with the area, particularly Canovanas, was almost inevitable. The allure of being only 45 minutes away from the vibrant energy of San Juan, yet nestled in a serene and remote location with some of the island's most breathtaking views, captivated me.
Being a host isn't just a role for me; it's a passion. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with guests from all walks of life, sharing stories, and providing them with an unforgettable stay. Living amidst the natural beauty of El Yunque has allowed me to indulge in my love for nature and outdoor activities. Whether it's exploring the lush surroundings, hiking through verdant trails, or simply soaking in the tranquility of the landscape, I find immense joy in embracing the peacefulness and serenity of this area.
Why they chose this property
This Cubuy neighborhood on the edge of El Yunque stole my heart with its unique blend of tranquility and accessibility. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to San Juan, it offers the best of both worlds. The scene here is nothing short of mesmerizing – picture-perfect vistas, lush greenery as far as the eye can see, and a sense of serenity that's truly unparalleled. What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is the opportunity it provides to disconnect from the chaos of urban life and immerse oneself in the beauty of nature. The peaceful ambiance, coupled with the warmth and hospitality of the locals, creates an inviting atmosphere that's hard to resist.
What makes this property unique
Toro Views isn't just another accommodation option; it's a sanctuary for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. What sets my property apart is its unrivaled location and the panoramic views it offers. Perched on a hillside overlooking the stunning landscape of El Yunque, guests are treated to sweeping vistas of lush mountains, rolling hills, and the shimmering waters of the Atlantic in the distance. The sense of tranquility and seclusion that envelops the property is truly magical, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Moreover, Toro Views isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience. The property itself is thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, offering a harmonious retreat where guests can reconnect with nature and themselves. Whether it's relaxing on the spacious patio, savoring a delicious meal prepared on the grill, hiking on our private trails with hundreds of fruit trees, or exploring the river pool, every moment spent at Toro Views is infused with a sense of peace and serenity that's truly unforgettable.
