The property was exactly as described and in good shape when we got there. We were only there from 9pm to 4:45am as we needed to crash between hiking and an early flight. I’d have given it a 5 star rating except that the apartment is in a basement and whomever was upstairs (owner or renter) and a dog were walking around just above the bedroom until well after 11pm and all we wanted to do was sleep. We were SO tired from hiking and knew we needed to be up early so this was hard to ignore.
The place was super clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and available to respond quickly to any questions or needs. I'd love to stay here again if I get back to the area.
Good location right near downtown salt lake. Despite being next to a freeway, the sound barrier wall does a great job and I couldn't even really hear the traffic. Good spot.
The basement-home was a great value. It comes with plenty of space, and has many ammenities available. My one area of improvement would be to slightly decrease the temperature, as it was slightly colder on some nights.Per the basement setup, expect to hear some upstairs noise like footsteps, doors opening, as well as the dogs scrambling around. Outside of this, the host was extremely accommodating and welcoming.
Thank you for hosting us at your property we enjoyed your hospitality.

The basement description of this property along with the pictures of inside were accurate to this listing. There was no issue with being in the basement aside from the steady noise level from the owners and pet(s) above which made relaxation somewhat difficult. While close and convenient to downtown, would like to mention that the area of this neighborhood may not feel the safest for everyone.
The property was clean and very pet friendly. If we had only been there for two or three nights I would rate it exceptional. It is a very well thought out space but it is very small. Two people and two dogs the walls started to close in about day four. Also, if you walk your dogs in the neighborhood be aware that there are a lot of off leash and unattended dogs wandering around.
Amazing little quaint place just perfect for my needs. My stay was a quick over night stay on a two day drive to where I was moving to. The hosts are very delightful people and I could have ask for a better experience. This deserves a 10 star place to stay.

Thanks for your words Karin, remember that you and your pets are welcome anytime.
This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown. It's a nice little place. The host was very responsive and helpful when we let them know the details of our trip changed a bit. It's close to bus routes and easy to find. It's very close to the freeway but you don't hear anything once you are inside the house. We would stay here again.

Desiree thanks for your words, you are welcome anytime
Home was clean when I got there. The only minor thing is some of the cookware was missing lids and the small foot heater provided wasn’t enough to stay warm. The location was ideal and I would stay here again. The mini home was perfect spot for my trip, close to a park as well as the state fairgrounds.
