Spacious studio apartment. The furniture was arranged a little differently from the photos, but all very nice, good quality, pretty. Useful kitchen, clean shower. Only things to note are that the bathroom sink is so small it splashes out onto the floor, so a floor mat would be good. Would be nice to have a wall clock as well.Nice quiet neighborhood, you do hear the car and train traffic at a light hum.Fantastic view of the city skyline from the street.
Check in was really easy. Communication with host was excellent. Small studio apartment perfect for 2. UTA Trax runs down the main street, but I think I only heard it once or twice and then only when I was paying attention. May have been louder if the windows were open.Apartment is on the basement floor. Heard some noise from people walking around in the apartment above us, and going up the stairs. Never heard any voices, TV, or music from any of the other apartments.Would definitely stay here again!

This was a very cute affordable option and convenient for the nearby university and I plan to stay here again in the future!
Great space for an individual or couple to stay. The bed was comfy and the water got hot quickly. The host was organized and we had everything we needed. Just a quick tram ride to downtown and walking distance to campus.
I really enjoyed my stay and loved feeling the heart beat of Salt Lake City. The place was comfortable and was a great location. Host was very prompt to help me with my complicated schedule. Friendly and professional. I felt safe and really enjoyed my stay. Wanted to stay longer.
- Our host was very helpful and very quick to respond. She obviously wants her guests to enjoy their stay.
- Great location to U of U, within walking distance to the south edge of the campus.
- Nice apartment for a couple.
The apartment is decorated nicely and comfortable and even though it’s close to the rail system, we found it to be very quiet. The location is great for families travel to see students at the university, but the drive way is on curve and is difficult to see until you’re right up on it. Nice neighborhood to get some exercise - good sidewalks. Overall nice stay and great price point.
The apartment is very beautiful, clean, very well put together, and Melanie provides all the utensils you’ll need during your stay.
I’ve ordered groceries with DoorDash, very convenient, and walked downtown and to the vivint arena in about an hour. I highly recommend Melanie’s apartment!!
The unit is very cute but very snug for sleeping and the bathroom. Its about a 20 minute walk to the Utes Stadium. The place was clean. However, the noise heard from the upstairs unit was hard to block out. The floors are really creaky so you just hear the people walking which unfortunately is right over the bed. The bathroom is really tight, but cute. It was priced for a good value, so I think these downsides have been factored in.

The apartment was small and cozy. It was decorated nicely. The bathroom sink was tiny. I mean tiny. The lighting to get to the apartment going down the stairs did not click on until you were halfway down the stairs. The lighting above the door was very dim. You have to use the light from the stairs to see the numbers on the keypad on the door. Once you hit the first number, then the keypad lit up and you could finish the sequence code to unlock the door. The apartment was very clean but had some spots that had been overlooked. I just needed it to sleep in and left very early and came back fairly late. The occupants of the apartment above came home late also. They vacuumed their apartment after 10 p.m. This apartment is located IN student housing. On the weekend, there was a very loud party in the apartment above. Went on until 1:30 a.m. I had to get up a 5:30 a.m. The host was very attentive to my needs. It is right next to the Traxx tracks so it is a bit noisy. Ear plugs worked well for me, except for the party upstairs. It worked for the most part for my needs of just having somewhere to sleep. The rules of no one else on the property was a bit extreme. That meant I could not have my son come visit me, I had to meet him somewhere else. It would have been nice to be able to have him spends some time with me while I had a break in my time. It is an older building, and the doors and walls are thin. The parking lot was packed beyond spaces available. Get there early.
