Welcome to your newly renovated modern Scandinavian lake front home away from home, nestled on 174+ feet of private frontage on beautiful Hackert Lake (known as Crystal Lake to the locals). This gorgeous modern home is perfect for your family vacation adventures. Enjoy fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming on the beautiful waterfront. Located just minutes from all the amenities of Ludington including the world class State Park and Stearns beach on Lake Michigan.

The Nordic Lodge is truly a friends and family vacation experience. It includes a grand open loft primary bedroom on top floor with views of the lake and ensuite bath with a deep tub. Two additional bedrooms on the main floor with a shared bathroom. A modern gourmet kitchen with every amenity one could desire, and an open concept grand living room/dining area with a great stone chimney and magnificent views of the lake. Just off of the living rooms is a large deck furnished for outdoor enjoyment and bbq for grilling.

The lower level features accommodations for six with its own living room/play space/tv and open bunk bed room for kids of ages including those that are a child at heart. Lower level sliding doors open to the yard and views of the lake as well.

Currently some of the photos are virtually staged but new photos with new furniture will be updated shortly.

This property was absolutely beautiful!! It was clean and had plenty of room for my family. We got to fish, hang out by the fire pit, and go canoeing on the lake. It was close to the dunes and we also got to enjoy downtown Ludington. Also great restaurants in the area as well.

The house is beautiful, very clean, and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The view is beautiful and location near Ludington made it easy to find good things to do. Host was great with communication and super kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic house and hosts

The house is awesome and a very good set up for a large group. We had a total of 10 people and it worked perfect. Very clean and it’s on a nice smaller lake. Very quiet. The hosts were awesome and even checked in by text after our first night to assure everything was going well. Beds were very comfortable!! Highly recommend!

Awesome Experience

Beautiful lakefront property. Comfortable, clean, and updated. We had 11 in our group including one child and four teenagers. The lower level was great for kids. Everyone loved the kayaking to the sandbar for some playtime. The home is very comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked for doing so. Great and peaceful location. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Would love to stay AGAIN and AGAIN

Location is phenomenal! Just minutes from town but feels much more remote. The house views of the lake are so nice! The house interior is just as beautiful as pictured! Everything is new, clean and well designed. Our kids LOVED the basement bunk area! House amenities are good, they do have a Keurig coffee maker which was nice because I don’t think it was listed so I wasn’t expecting it. The lake is wonderful to kayak. Very clear water, hence Crystal Lake as it’s name, I guess. The host were very good communicators. They generously compensated us for an unforeseen incident which was not really an inconvenience to us at all! Highly recommend this place!
