This 104 year old beach cottage has undergone a spectacular transformation with a three level addition and the total renovation of the existing house. The main level addition includes a large great room with 180 degree views along with a wrap-around deck. The upper level deck addition of the primary bedroom encompasses views of the Atlantic Ocean, Beavertail Lighthouse, Narragansett Bay, and Wesquage Pond Wildlife Refuge. The lower level addition boasts a large playroom and a third full bath. Every square inch of the original house has been renovated while maintaining the original charm of a beach cottage. The private beach is just a short 3 minute walk down the hill - 600 feet from door to shore! Access to the beach is by pass only for the residents and guests. The house is a perfect spot for weekend escapes.

The home has a two living areas, both with gas fireplaces, large kitchen with a bar island, dining area, four bedrooms, 3 full baths, a playroom and two levels of outdoor decks. Hear the waves as you wake up in the primary bedroom with the sunrise over Bonnet Point. There is central A/C in the entire home.

This home has everything you need including internet access, Hulu live TV, linens, beach chairs, games, toys, washer/dryer and much more. Also included is an outdoor gas grill and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is a ring camera at the front door. The private beach is one of the finest beaches in all of Rhode Island. The beach is cleaned daily in season and there is a lifeguard on duty. Boogie boards are welcome and surfing is permitted at certain times of the day. Children will be delighted with the rocks at the end of the beach where they can find plenty of tidal pool sea life.

Narragansett offers everything from beautiful beaches to fabulous fishing to scrumptious seafood. Newport, with its spectacular coastal scenery, thriving downtown waterfront, and famed Gilded Age mansions is just a short drive away. From this home, you can walk to several restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as Baron’s Ice Cream - the best ice cream in Rhode Island.
