The perfect view

We had a lovely time at Maistros. The view from the pool is simply amazing. It is well equipped and close to amazing beaches which are quiet and beautiful. Giannis kept in touch regularly and Monica ensured that we had clean towels and a clean villa. A delightful stay.

Wonderful stay at Maistros

Fantastic property in remote location. You will need a car and you will need to be comfortable driving down some narrow cliffside roads. If you are comfortable with this I would highly recommend. The villa has unrivalled views and fantastic facilities.

great holidays at a phantastic place

This is a nice villa at a phantastic place. Perfect view to the see, pool terrace is wonderful; nice surrounding area. House is equipped with everything you need, there is even a barbecue place and a pizza oven. Villages Rodakino and Sellia are reachable within some minutes of car driving only, they have nice restaurants; 3 different beaches close by (direction to Rodakino) and some more ad partly very famous ones (like Preveli) also easily reachable by car (30 - 45 mins driving); mountain area in vicinity is also great (e.g. Kourtaliotiko Gorge)

This was our first time visiting Greece. My trip planning started with finding this house. I couldn't believe something as beautiful as this existed and it ended up exceeding our expectations. We fell so deeply in love with this property and the location that I told the owner he was going to have to kick us out! Haha! Crete is seriously the stuff that dreams are made of and this house made it feel like an absolute fairytale. If you find this house in your trip planning searches, you don't need to look any further! This is THE ONE!!

A house with a view.

April can be horrible in New England. We went to Crete to get a bit of fresh air and some sunshine. While the beginning of the month was clearly before the tourist season by the end of the month all the tavernas and shops were open and busy! The wildflowers all around the southern part of Crete were stunning! The house is new, simple and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. There is a new kitchen and split units for heat and a/c. As the weather was mild when we were there, we didn't need it, but I'm sure come summer they will be essential. The view and pool are amazing. The owner was responsive when we reached out and was fabulous for recommendations on shops, places to go and especially where to eat in the region. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Urlaub Rodakino

Es wäre noch ein viel schönerer Urlaub gewesen, hätten wir nicht das Pech gehabt, fast 14 Tage nur sehr starker Sturm zu erleben, wir konnten das Anwesen nicht so genießen, aber es ist wunderschön, Gastfreundlichtkeit super und Jannis ist ein toller Gastgeber, dann waren noch diese Heuschrecken, zwar nicht so schlimm, aber nervig mit der Zeit, wir würden immer wieder diese Haus mieten, tolle Aussicht, faszinierend diese Berge und Meer, einfach traumhaft. Die Maistros Villa ist einfach ein Traum. Wunderschön, sauber und in einer tollen Lage. Der Blick aufs Meer ist fantastisch. Giannis, der Gastgeber, war super nett und hat uns den Aufenthalt so bequem wie nur möglich gemacht. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Obstkorb, 2 Flaschen Wasser und eine gute Flasche Rosé Wein. Giannis war immer ansprechbar und hat uns einige gute Tipps gegeben. Alles war top - wir würden jederzeit wieder die Villa buchen und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Insbesondere für Urlauber, die Ruhe möchten und nicht im Touri Wahnsinn ihren Urlaub verbringen möchten, ist dieser Ort eine Reise wert.

Entspannter Urlaub

Das Haus ist wunderschön und wie beschrieben, wir haben hier im November 2 sehr erholsame Wochen verbracht. Die Lage ca. 200 Meter über dem Meer mit einem grandiosen Ausblick, der Pool ist ausreichend groß und auf einer Seite so flach das Kinder stehen können, aber das stört nicht beim schwimmen. Wir haben die meiste Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht und drinnen nur gekocht und geschlafen. Die Lage ist gut für Ausflüge im Süden und der Mitte Kretas alles was weiter ist, ist mit stundenlangen Autofahrten verbunden, die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit beim Fahren im Süden ist kaum über 50 Km/h bei Nässe deutlich darunter. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Wunderschöner Ort für Individualisten

Es war alles so wie wir es erwartet hatten. Die Beschreibung des Hauses zusammen mit den Fotos gibt ein richtiges Bild wieder. Wir hatten einen erholsamen, schönen Aufenthalt. Das Wetter hat Ende Oktober sein Übriges dazu beigetragen. Wind und Regen haben uns verschont. Man sollte dies aber an dem ein oder anderen Tag zu dieser Jahreszeit durchaus mit einberechnen. Ein eigenes Fahrzeug ist erforderlich. Alles was man benötigt kann man in fünf bis zwanzig Minuten "erfahren". Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Bereich innen und außen zweimal gereinigt,dabei auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Terrasse und der Pool sind von den entfernten (ca. 200 Meter) Nachbarobjekten nicht einsehbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben jeden Tag genossen.

Ein toller Aufenthalt

Die Villa ist wie im Internet beschrieben, sehr abgelegen, toll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden auch wiederkommen. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich. Die nächsten Restaurants und Strände sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Dank der hilfreichen Restaurant Tipps im Gästebuch, haben wir jeden Abend sehr lecker gegessen. Maison Crète

La maison de Giannis était parfaite. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La maison était propre et très agréable. La vue est à couper le souffle. Le ménage a été fait deux fois pendant notre séjour, c’était très agréable.

Une semaine de bonheur

La maison est très belle, bien agencée et équipée. La vue est magnifique, on ne s’en lasse pas! Tout s’est bien passé. Attention néanmoins les jours de vent ça souffle fort! Merci à Giannis pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité et à Anna pour le soin de la maison.

Super Ferienhaus mit traumhaftem Blick übers Mittelmeer

Das Ferienhaus kann ich zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Eigentümer. Saubere Anlage mit schöner großer Terrasse. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß. Die Kinder haben wir kaum aus dem Wasser bekommen. Zum Einkaufen oder für einen Gaststättenbesuch muss man mit dem Auto ein paar Minuten fahren, aber in den nächsten Orten gibt es da genügend Möglichkeiten. Der Süden der Insel, wo das Ferienhaus steht, ist noch sehr ursprünglich. Wenig Touristentrubel, schöne kleine Dörfchen und viele Wandermöglichkeiten für einen aktiven Urlaub. Die Bevölkerung ist supernett und man fühlt sich überall willkommen. Einfach genial. Alles in allem haben wir den Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder.

Besondere Lage

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und eingewiesen. Die Lage des Hauses über dem Meer ist überragend schön und besonders. Trotz der späten Jahreszeit hatten wir Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten sogar den großen Pool genießen. Die großzügige Außenanlage mit Terrasse und Pool bietet luxuriöse Entspannung. Die Wohnfläche ist für 4 Personen gut und ausreichend, jedoch nicht groß. Die Zimmer waren sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet und funktionell ausgelegt. Das Bad ist modern. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super freundlich, ohne Verzögerung und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage des Anwesens der richtige Ort für weltentrückte Entspannung. Infrastruktur (Einkäufe, Restaurants) erreichbar mit dem Auto, allerdings sollte man hier entspannt Zeit einplanen und kurvenreiche Strecken genießen. Die Landschaft, durch die man fährt, ist grandios. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber!

Wundervoll

Ein gepflegtes, sehr gut gelegenes Haus. Wir haben die Stille, die Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Die Aussicht, das Licht, die Wärme im November waren wohltuend. Das Meer gut erreichbar. Der Gastgeber immer erreichbar, alles bestens organisiert. Eine Perle in Südkreta.

Gleichbleibend traumhaft schön

Unser mittlerweile dritter Aufenthalt war genauso wunderschön wie die vergangenen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, das Bad schön erneuert. Der Ausblick ist und bleibt ein Traum. Giannis ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lovely, relaxing stay overlooking the Libyan Sea

Really impressive views, well equipped property. location close enough to Plakias and local villages when we wanted to go out. well looked after by host. TV choice was a bit limited for UK viewers - had BBC world service and Bloomberg Europe and some films in evening in english so would bring some board games next stay.

Wunderschönes Haus mit fantastischem Ausblick

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Der Blick von der Terasse ist fantastisch. Hier kann man wirklich abschalten und den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
