Congress Street Cottage - Easy walk to beaches, restaurants, and shopping!

This first floor cottage unit has two bedrooms and all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Located on the same street as historic Congress Hall, this cottage is close to all that Cape May has to offer.

Indoor Amenities:
Living room with sofa bed, kitchen, den with dining area, one full bath, two bedrooms-one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. This unit is capable of sleeping up to four people.

Outdoor Amenities:
Outside shower, picnic table, and BBQ for grilling

Linens, blankets and towels are not provided... you will need sheets, pillow cases and blankets for 2 twins and 1 queen. The pull out sofa is also a queen if you plan on using it.

This property was fantatistic for a short weekend getaway! The space was clean & comfortable. The location was great. We were able to walk to dinner and a cafe. And short drive to anywhere else we went. Parking was easy. And the host Edward was fantastic. Very communicative and super friendly. We would definitely bookna stay there again.

Been coming to Cape May since 2003. This is the most perfect, tidy, convenient and cozy place we have stayed since then. If you like to spend the entire day at the shore, then come back for comfort and a drink before walking to great dining, this is the spot. Dockside Dave's is a block away if you just want to buy fresh seafood, chill and cook your own meal.

We had a great time for the time we were there. Easy walk to the beach or anywhere you want to go. Restaurants, breakfast spots, liquor store etc. Owner was responsive and friendly. Would return if we are in the area again

Perfect Cape May Retreat

This cottage was the perfect size for our family of four and included all the amenities we needed. There is also a wazher/dryer that made it easier to pack light. Even with a second unit upstairs, it was very quiet. 10 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to walk into town, but also lots right nearby. On street parking was tricky closer to the weekend but always available. The host responded immediately to any questions, though we really had no reason to reach out. We would definitely come back!

Great for people with Allergies!

This cottage is in a really good location in Cape May. A couple of blocks from a nice beach, a few blocks from downtown. The cottage is clean and had a kitchen with all we needed to cook. I’m allergic to cats and dogs and specifically look for places that do not allow any animals on the property ever, and this place fits the bill. The air is clean. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Could use lights at the head end of the beds for night time reading. (I used a headlamp in bed. )

Cozy beach cottage

I love an older beach house with a relaxed vibe, and this was perfect in that sense. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go and the neighborhood was wuiet.

Edward was great and communicated very well and was very accommodating. We were there for a weekend getaway. Very close to beach, shops, restaurants. We walked everywhere except to the Lighthouse which is only 3 miles away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Very cute cottage. Super clean. Easy walk to the beach. Easy walk to Washington Square, restaurants and shopping. Outside shower and grill were wonderful. Edward is very easy to get in touch with and responds very quickly. We hope we can continue to come back here and stay!

The perfect Cape May spot

Congress Cottage has everything we needed for four adults. It's super clean with a well functioning washer/dryer inside the apartment. There are window air conditioners in both bedrooms as well as the living room and the whole place stayed very cool. Best of all it's a less than 10 minute walk to the beach and free parking was easily available right in front or within a block of the house the whole time. We enjoyed the patio outside with grill and picnic table. Also the outdoor shower is great and really clean. Edward is extremely responsive and helpful. We will be back!
