Thank you for staying with us, it was a pleasure hosting you
The home served its purpose for our road trip. Took a while to get the AC going but happy the bedrooms had ceiling fans. Bonus for us was the retro NES in the basement.

Thank you for staying with us.
We appreciate your visit and the opportunity to host you. As we discussed during your stay, the air conditioning system was functioning properly. On particularly hot days, it’s not realistic for the house to cool to 60°F within just 30 minutes.
When you raised your concerns, the owners responded immediately, came by in person, and confirmed that everything was operating as it should. The system simply needed time to adjust to the outdoor temperature.
We also met with you both before your arrival and after your departure, and everything appeared to be in good order. Given that, we’re genuinely unsure what prompted the review you left.
The kitchen could be better stocked. It was quiet, clean, a nice little house. The price we paid for 3 days was very reasonable. If we should ever visit Detroit again I would stay there again
Happy to get away with my dog for some R & R. Close to lots of restaurants and parks to take him for walks. Owner had great communication. Recommend if you are heading to Detroit!

Thank you very much. You were a terrific guest and we hope to have you stay with us again in the future.
My visit was about the love of family. I was grateful for the space that was 3 year old proof. It was also comfortable for my 89 year old mother and myself. The location was convenient and the house was cozy for cold weather. The house had all the needs I could ask for. Again, grateful for a family friendly house. Thank you.

Thank you for your review, we are happy you enjoyed your stay with us. However, we do not understand your comment about the lawn. It was professionally mowed and trimmed 2 days prior to your arrival and toasters are fire hazards so we try not to have toasters at our property.

Go Tigers!
House was fine. Beds are very comfortable. Looks a little dated and old inside but fine for the small amount of time we were in the home. Owner did a great job communicating answering any question immediately.

The property could use a little updating. Especially the furniture.Communication is excellent. The property manager is next door and that’s helpful and beneficial. The hosts were kind enough to put a tv in the second bedroom for my mom. I really appreciated that. It’s not the Ritz, but the communication and accommodating nature of the hosts made the outdatedness of the property menial.
I think you should put how many people can be in the house booked the house for birthday party and wasn't allowed over 10 people. I think I should be accommodated a night had to check out earlier

Unfortunately, this guest did not review the rules regarding large parties at the property. We sent him the rules via message and reiterated them upon his arrival. Despite this, he proceeded to bring dozens of people into the small 900 sq. ft. house. Thankfully, he complied after we expressed our concern about his failure to follow the rules. However, hosting large parties is strictly prohibited by both our policies and Vrbo’s guidelines..
We were in town for a hockey camp for my daughter. The property was a good size for our family of 4. The kids enjoyed the games in the basement. It was nice to have a full kitchen since out family is gluten free and made most our meals at the house. Has a good sized backyard unfortunately we didnt get to utilize. It was in a nice central location for our needs while in Detroit, close to Little Caesars Arena and the zoo.
