Welcome to our cozy retreat in the small town with a big heart, Parker, CO. Our safe & spacious walkout basement offers added privacy with a separate entrance to the unit, and provides all the comforts of a home including full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, making it ideal for extended stays or weekend getaways.
We are only a 10-minute drive to Downtown Parker and I-25. Various restaurants, grocery stores, parks, hikes, etc. are only a few minutes drive away.
Use the side-door to take 10 stairs down to the garden-level walkout basement with private entry. As you enter the unit, to your left you will notice the kitchen with brand new full-size dishwasher, 5-burner electric range w/ oven and microwave, and fridge. We also provide pots and pans, plates and bowls, utensils and cutlery to prepare and enjoy your meals at the dining table to your right.
The living room next to the dining area offers comfortable seating for conversations and viewing your favorite shows on the 55in Smart TV. The living room windows open to the west with a garden-view, bringing in ample daylight.
Next to the living room is one of the two inviting bedrooms, with a memory-form queen bed, soft and clean sheets and pillows, dedicated workspace with office chair and monitor for productive working sessions, and a closet to store your personal belongings.
Down the hall from the private entry is the second bedroom, also equipped with a cozy and clean queen bed, second dedicated workspace, and a walk-in closet.
Next to the bedroom is a well-lit bathroom with vanity, making getting ready for the day a breeze. We provide hairdryer and basic toiletries in the bathroom; if you need anything else, just ask. Fresh set of towels are provided in each bedroom for your convenience.
In the hallway, the laundry room has brand new washer and dryer, for your use, for free. No need to haul your dirty laundry to the laundromat and fumble with coins! The water heater room and the storage room in the hallway are locked.
Small space heater and tower fan are provided in each bedroom for your comfort. A/C and heat are shared with the main house, and cannot be controlled from this space.
The staircase in the hallway leads to the door to the main house. This door is locked at all times. The staircase is blocked with a baby gate, and should remain engaged at all times. This ensures safety and privacy for the guests in this space, as well as for the owners living in the main house.
Outside, the peaceful backyard awaits you! Enjoy the crisp Colorado air while sipping your coffee or your favorite glass of wine. With direct access to the backyard, you have ample space to unwind. Backyard is a shared space with the owner's family. We are mindful of your space and privacy.
The walkout basement has private entry with a keypad lock, accessed via stairs through the side-door. The keypad code will be shared on the day of check-in.
Parking is on the street in front of the house. There is room for 2 cars.
The backyard is shared. Access to the outdoor deck is not provided.
At no point during the stay would a guest need to access the main house and the outdoor deck, or the owner need to access the basement (other than for maintenance, for which a 24-hour notice will be provided and permission will be requested).
We will be available to communicate with you about any questions that you may have about the unit/stay, any additional accommodations that you may need and ultimately any emergencies that may come up during your stay. The best way to reach us is through VRBO messages.
We maintain the thermostat at 70F in the winter, and 75F in the summer as it's connected to the main house, with the thermostat located upstairs. The air vents can be adjusted to regulate the air flow. If you prefer warmer/cooler temperatures, we provide portable heaters and fans in the unit. Additionally, we offer a humidifier to ensure a pleasant atmosphere during your stay.
The smart TV is connected to high-speed internet. You may login to your preferred content providers such as Netflix and YouTube to enjoy your favorite shows.
My wife, Monika, and I (Kunal) are working professionals and live in the main house upstairs. We may have friends and family visit us occasionally for evening drinks & food, or for an extended period. Please note, as much as we try to keep the place quiet and relaxing, occasional noise from upstairs may occur.
Security cameras are placed throughout the exterior of the property including the backyard, for safety. Absolutely no cameras inside!

It was great and as described. Extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. The location is great if you are looking to get up to the mountains and explore downtown all the way to Colorado Springs. There are plenty of little walking trails near as well. It was a wonderful experience for our family!
Beautifully appointed apartment with everything you could want for your stay. Super comfortable beds, great sheets, fluffy new towels, all new appliances. Very clean and smelled great. Thank you to our host for a great stay! We’ll definitely be staying there again!

I had a great experience at this property. Kunal was very quick and efficient to responding/answering questions and he made our stay seamless! The property was exactly as pictured, if not a little bigger than the pictures, and very clean. My stay was over two weeks and I had everything I needed in terms of kitchenware and basic cooking items (salt, pepper, non-stick spray, etc.). The neighborhood was very peaceful and only 30-45 minutes from Denver. I would definitely recommend this property!
We absolutely loved our 7 days in this beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet space.
Upon arrival we found a lovely note, a small bouquet of fresh flowers and a basket of snacks on the kitchen counter - which made us feel very welcome.
The kitchen was well equipped, and we had everything we needed to make our meals there and enjoy them at the dining room table.
In fact, all rooms - the bathroom, the living room, and the bedrooms were also very well equipped and comfortable.
We felt very much at home there.
One of the most important things of all was that the hosts were friendly, responsive, and prompt with all communications from the moment we booked to the day we checked out.
We could not have asked for better hosts or a better place to stay.
We look forward to staying there again the next time we go to Colorado to see our son.

Our stay at this walkout basement was good during the first week of August 2025. There were minor things that are more of a personal preference for our stays more than a "problem". At least one bedroom door would not catch so therefore it was not secure. Had we needed to lock our bedroom door, the tongue would not seat, not allowing it to catch. I didnt check the other door. The french doors (main entry) had busted trim at the deadbolt hole/pocket and only the strike plate keeping it "secure" when you locked the deadbolt. It appeared as though when the hole was being drilled for the dead bolt the wood may have split or broke off? The owner keeps the thermostat at 75 degrees and provides you with fans for the summer or electric heaters for the winter, per their emailed instructions at arrival. This made the area uncomfortable for us, especially while sleeping. There is not a thermostat control in the living area so we would have needed to email a request to have it lowered. The area was very clean, cute, spacious and fairly cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances for almost anything you needed. The neighborhood was quiet and we rarely heard the owners upstairs.
