Whether you are boating/paddling on the lake, reading on the screened in porch, picnicking on the dock, playing a round of corn hole or enjoying s'mores around the campfire, your family is sure to make lasting memories! Come & enjoy our lakefront 3 BD/2 BA ranch-style cottage that includes a private boat dock & screened in porch.

The space
Carden Cove is a newly renovated home featuring an open floor plan in the kitchen and living area, 3 nicely sized bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We are nestled on a quiet cove where you can enjoy a quiet afternoon paddle using our 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards or 2 child size kayaks (125lbs and under).

AMENITIES offers the opportunity to keep warm on those chilly nights with our electric fireplace or better yet, grab some smores and sit out by our large fire pit! Want to eat some lunch by the water while the kids play on our floating water mat or child size kayaks? There is a charcoal grill and picnic area right by the dock! If you're not a water person, play a round of cornhole, enjoy the tire swing, or utilize the 4-burner gas grill while watching the little ones use the toddler slide and single swing! Forgot life jackets or water shoes? Look no further!

KITCHEN offers a fully stocked kitchen with additional cookware needed for all types of meals to feed the family in our 8-seater dining room table with 4 additional barstools available or utilize our screened in porch with a dining table for 6, 4 additional captain chairs and 2 bar stools! Enjoy our wine bar or our FULLY stocked coffee bar (K-cup and regular coffee).

LIVING ROOM offers a TV with a firestick with access to YouTube TV. VCR/DVD & Atari are available for use. Our couches pull out to 2 queen sized beds. Enjoy a family game night at the lake with our plethora of board games, puzzles, and much more!

PRIMARY BEDROOM offers a king-sized adjustable Tempur-Pedic bed with a TV that offers YouTube TV on its firestick. There is a pack n' play, 2 toddler mattresses, highchair, infant tub and toddler stool located in the closet. The primary bathroom has a separate tub and shower.

SECONDARY & THIRD BEDROOM each offers a queen-sized bed and twin bunk beds, all with memory foam mattresses. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Guest access
Guests will have full home access with lakefront dock and waterfront access.

Other things to note:
We supply a small welcome package and coffee bar. Did you forget a toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, detergent, toilet paper/paper towels, bottle of wine from our local winery;)...we have you covered! There is a dollar general 1.5 miles from the house that you can pick up anything else you need!

The water depth in front of our boat dock is 2ft. The closest boat rental to us is Poplar Point Mariana (3.2 miles also home to waterfront restaurant Shady Shacks). Boat rentals need to have an outboard motor that can lift in order to guide the boat into our boat dock and a top that can fold down to ensure clearance under the bridge from great creek to the main lake (clearance is 8'11").
Bringing your own boat? Holly Grove Mariana 1.5 miles away has a public boat ramp for use.
We will have our boat docked on the lift, however you are welcome to anchor directly in front of our dock (we often do;).

***PLEASE NOTE:
There is a $500 replacement fee for any lost/broken watercrafts or inflatables. We LOVE sharing these with you, however from one family to another we rely on you to be honest and accountable. Please put all watercraft's and items back as found for the next guests. Water crafts and inflatables are: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. We have life jackets available for use (2 infant, 2-50-90lbs, 3 universal adult, 1 women's M, 2 women's XL).

Nightly Minimums:
2 night Minimum (Aug. 24-June 14)
4 night minimum (June 14-Aug.23)
1 week Minimum the week of 4th of July (any day to any day PLEASE message if you can't book through the site, we are happy to help you:)! 🌿 Nature Reminder: Our home is nestled in a wooded area, so you may occasionally see local wildlife—including insects or snakes. While these encounters are rare, we encourage guests to stay aware of their surroundings when outside. Rest assured, the property is professionally treated by pest control on a regular schedule.
