Welcome to Unit 2 of the Swiss Hut — Your UP Michigan Chalet Escape!
Enjoy peaceful surroundings just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort. This cozy 2-bed, 2-bath chalet is perfect for up to 6 guests, whether you’re here for winter skiing, snowmobiling or summer hiking and lake adventures.

Inside the Space
Relax after a day of adventure in your own private sauna or cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The open layout upstairs features a full kitchen, dining area, and living space — ideal for meals and gathering together. Downstairs you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms and the second full bath with sauna access.

Your Outdoor Space
You’ll have your own BBQ + partial deck access just off the living room. A private firepit behind the unit gives you an evening spot for s’mores and memory-making under the stars.

Our home is pet friendly so you can travel with your furry best friend. Two pets maximum are allowed. Please not let your pet on the furniture including the beds.
We expect that you won't leave your pet unattended and will dispose of any waste left by dogs in the outside trash can.

Host was welcoming including a last minute minor modification. The amenities were nice and quaint (very cute). If you are used to a soft bed at home you might want to bring a pillow top cover, but after skiing all day the support was great!

Comfortable, Well-Provisioned with Outstanding TV Streaming Services

We found Swiss Hut II an ideal property for a week of skiing due to its location and many comforts. The kitchen was fully serviceable in every respect, the beds were ultra comfortable, the multiple streaming services provided endless entertainment and we appreciated the privacy of the neighborhood. 'Happy campers in every respect.

Great place to stay at Powderhorn!

We’ve been renting a place at Powderhorn every year for the last five years. We know the places generally have some old time charm and we love that! We could tell there has been effort to make improvements while still keeping the charm. We really appreciated all the efforts! Thank you for all the ‘extras’ - this place worked perfectly for our family of 4 plus our dog :)
