We came to the property at the last minute for ours sons 9th birthday after our first cabin was canceled due to the Winter storm. The location was great for sledding right on the property, which is why we booked it. Turned out to be just as we expected. The house had all you needed. Nice soft beds. Great pull out sofa in game room. Only complaint would be The kitchen only had one pot and a few pans, but we made due with bowls in the microwave to cook.

Nice but failed on service
Although the cabin was nice and the view was awesome, the cleanliness and service was awful. The cabin looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in awhile with layers of dust on the blinds and the bugs were really bad. WE FOUND A BLACK WIDOW SPIDER ALIVE IN OUR BEDROOM! The TV service was turned off. Called the owner of the property and she is still to call me back. No wash clothes to bath with. The towels stunk. We have stayed in many cabins in our time from Blue Ridge to Franklin. This one definitely is at the bottom of our list. Would not rent it again myself.

Walter, we're very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered at this house, especially in regards to cleanliness and communication. We have a team dedicated to helping travelers 7 days a week and would have been happy to address your concerns while in residence. We have shared your feedback with the homeowner so we can prevent these issues from occurring again. Thanks for letting us know. Best, The Evolve Team
This property was really nice. The view was so pretty. We had a couple issues checking in, but the owner Jeanette was very responsive and had this solved quickly. She even bought us pizza for dinner that first night. I would recommend this property highly.
It was everything we were looking for, great views fully loaded kitchen, good beds. And it was close to town for anything u might have forgotten.

Location is amazing but stay was not comfortable, beware of bed bugs
We reached late at night on 26th, and when I woke up in the morning, I felt itchy on hands and legs. We suspected bed bugs and because we were planning to stay for 4 nights, we did not want to take any risks sleeping there again and so we checked out of the property on 27th itself.
The location is amazing but the house needs some work. There was an uncomfortable smell in the basement. Only one front gas burner works.
The 2nd bathroom is very small, we could not even fit in the shower. Overall, we felt it was not worth a stay for the price.

Hi Khushali, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. After following up with the homeowners, we would like to share the following:
- The owners provided a report from Orkin, a professional pest control company, stating that there are no bed bugs in the house, nor any evidence of them.
- This inspection was done ASAP after you contacted the owners, and we regret that you left the property before they were able to address your concerns.
- This is a two-story house, and there is no basement. The owners let us know that no odors were detected before or after your stay.
- The stove was also checked after your departure, and the owner confirmed that all burners are working.
- As pictured, the second bathroom is a standard size, though we understand that it may feel small compared with the spacious master bathroom, which includes double sinks, a walk-in shower, and jetted tub.
Recent guests have not reported any issues, and we are confident that future travelers will enjoy wonderful, relaxing stays here!
House was really nice, and the view was exceptional. Dining on the outdoor upper deck was really pleasant. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable as well as pretty. Pool table was a nice plus. My family enjoyed the stay in this beautiful home!
Great and clean property. Very nice appliances, new grill and kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and cookware needed. Listing stated lock box with key however you actually use a code to enter the garage.
Beautiful home with gorgeous mountain views. Kitchen was well-equipped, the house was immaculately clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The property owner/manager provided quick responses to questions. We were within a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants (most of which are offering takeout during the pandemic). We greatly enjoyed the decks and rocking chairs, but sadly didn’t have a chance to play pool or ping pong. The house was in a quiet, peaceful location that wasn’t crowded or touristy and was only about a 30-minute drive through beautiful countryside to the areas we wanted to hike, view waterfalls, or go zip lining. Would highly recommend this vacation home!
The location was central to everything we wanted. Easy to find, private but not isolated. Clean and up to date furnishings. Great communication with owner/manager. Actually it was more than we expected. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Cute house but some disappointments
The house was very pretty and a great space for my family however the internet was extremely slow (forget watching Netflix) and also the cable channel selection was terrible, basically local channels only. The owner was very kind and offered to call Dish but it didn't really help. If you're looking for a great place and don't need fast internet or good TV selection (it rained all weekend for us) for relaxation, this is a great place but if those things are typically a part of your vacation, I would skip this rental. :(

I have stayed at this house twice. It is always clean and perfect for a women's retreat.
The location is ideal for getting away from hustle and bustle, but close to restaurants and shopping.
The view in the morning while you sip your coffee is wonderful.
Everything you need is provided.

Breathtaking views
Spectacular! The views were amazing. The house is well kept, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals (Guest supply your own groceries of course)! It was brought to my attention the day before we left that the main bathroom door needs a little attention ( off track). Other than that... Perfection perfection perfection! Loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and the mountain views on the porch with a cup of coffee. I already suggested this home to friends and for us the home wasn't steep at all, compared to some other places we've rented.

Beautiful Mountain Home
Other than a little trouble finding the home, everything else was a perfect fit. Beautiful home and mountain views. Easy access to Franklin and Sylva, NC. Also, not far from Highlands, Cashiers, Asheville.
