Great Location!

Beautiful property located within walking distance to down town Gruene. This property is located directly across from Rockin R, which is perfect for the folks that are looking to float the river. We enjoyed our stay here, and wouldn’t definitely do it again!

Absolutely beautiful, beyond expectations. The unit looked brand new! Very comfortable, amazing kitchen, porch out overlooking the lawns by the river. Go down the steps off the patio and be at the river in moments! You can smell the bbq from Gruene it is so close!!! Parking is phenomenal, even wide disabled spots. I cannot say enough about this property- we would be hard pressed to stay anywhere else in the future, we will be back!

Our family loved our stay at the Gruene Lily Pad! Amberly was very quick to respond and answer any questions. You can tell she put a lot of thought into accommodating guest. I really enjoyed all the little touches like the motion sensor plug in lights, soft close cabinets, fully equipped kitchen, remote control fans. You can’t beat the location, very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The house and amenities were even better than we expected. The house was beautiful and every little detail was perfect! We are already talking about the next trip and we will definitely stay here again! Coffee and wine by the stream and the wildlife coming to visit were icing on the cake. Close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is within walking distance to Gruene Hall and several other great spots—just be aware there’s a small hill to walk up, which wasn’t an issue for us. The place was clean, spacious, and easily large enough to accommodate a family or group of friends. It ended up being just the two of us, but it would definitely work well for more. The only minor inconvenience was the hot water, which took a few minutes to warm up, but once it did, everything worked fine. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place and would stay again!

Perfect Weekend Family Getaway

This was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday! The location was perfect and conveniently located within walking distance to Gruene and Rockin' R. Easy, short drive to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn. The home was very clean, comfy and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Everything is new which was nice! The last time we stayed in New Braunfels, we could not sleep because there were parties all around us through the night. This was the opposite... very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting out back in the evening with a glass of wine watching the lightening bugs. Amberly was very welcoming, accommodating and responsive. We hope to be back!
