This ideally located house is the perfect place if you want to be at the center of things while comfortably lodging at a spacious and calm home.The home is sunny and full of charm. It has a great view of the San Francisco bay area, which you can enjoy throughout the house, from the master bedroom to the laundry. It has heating and air conditioning as well as three working fireplaces. There is a beautiful garden with lounging areas and a field for taking in the wonderful California weather. The house is fully equipped, with hi speed wifi and all the necessary appliances and linens to make your stay comfortable. There are two living rooms, one of them with Cable TV and DVD. Parking is on the property, no need to park on the street.

Amidst a calm, green neighborhood, the house is located close to one of the main highways connecting all of Silicon Valley, at less than 5 minutes away. The downtown of Redwood City is 5-10 minutes away, with movie theaters, restaurants, supermarkets, and all kinds of stores. There is a natural reserve with hiking trails at a 15 minute walk from the house. The Caltrain (local commuter train) station is 10 minutes away, connecting to all of Silicon Valley. There are also buses that connect to neighboring Palo Alto, Stanford and other adjacent towns.

This house was perfect for the overflow of family that came for a funeral service event. The convenience of having them stay right next door was priceless. There was plenty of room for everyone, rooms were comfortable, well equipped, and close to the venue. All good! Great location, full kitchen, very comfortable bed, good responsiveness from hosts. My only wish is better lighting and more outlets in the bedrooms. Hard to find enough outlets to plug in my laptop, phone ect without removing the light from the outlet. Also would be great to have more hooks for towels in the main bathroom. Thanks so much for this lovely home!

Great House on a Hill

Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Emerald Hills. The home owner was super responsive to anything we needed and we were very comfortable in this very pretty home. The location is just 10 to 15 minutes from Palo Alto and the views are awesome!

Great home for family get together

We very much enjoyed our stay in Emerald Hills. The house had everything we needed and gave our family members plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The location was perfect for us. The area is quiet and very private, yet just minutes away from local restaurants and shopping with quick access via the 280 to San Francisco & San Jose. The homeowners were accessible and very responsive. Thank you for letting us share your home!

Nice home with a great location for us

The home was nice. We have stayed in several VRBO’s over the years. This one was a little different. I found it odd that we stayed in someone’s primary home. They stayed in the property in a small guest house on the property. The listing didn’t state they would be sharing the property with us. It also stated there was a grill but there was no propane for us to use the grill, it also said there was a gym. There was no workout equipment. The gym was no big deal for us but it might be for other people.

Great hosts!

When we needed anything, they were extremely attentive and quick to respond and get us whatever we needed. It was a nice big house with plenty of room for all 5 of us. Be prepared before you get up to the house because it’s far up in the hills and takes quite a few twists and turns to get to town. Also, if you like to sleep in darkness make sure you bring a sleep mask, a few of the rooms were not as dark as we would have liked. The kitchen was fairly well stocked for 5 people with lots of spices and things in the fridge to help us enjoy our stay. Lots of toys for kids to play with which was really great for us. Also, plenty of books if you need something to read- truly, the books and book shelves were more than plentiful. The view was outstanding and all the outside space was really nice to enjoy in a beautiful day!

Spacious house in very good location

As it turned out, my wife and I had stayed in the separate studio of this dwelling four years ago and liked it then. This time we took the whole house. The outdoors is great for children, as is the indoor space. There is ample parking. There were a few minor suggestions we will write to the owner directly, but nothing major at all. It was a good stay for us the second time for this property.

Superb house with views and a garden in a peace heaven

Jimena’s family home is a fantastic house in a great area of the bay. The house is super quiet yet within easy access to the 280. The house has views of the bay and a very pleasant back garden full of hummingbirds. The house is very well equipped with access to the whole property. There is plenty of space and many rooms. We enjoyed walking in the open preserve which is 15 min walk away. Communication with Jimena is fast and easy. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Spot
