This place was awesome for my family. Relaxing for me and a lot of things to do for my family. We loved the outdoors and we were impressed by the indoor activities. A beautiful weekend.
The place is in a lovey setting on the water with a canoe and kayaks on site. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Annie was very responsive to all my inquiries. We attended plays at APT in Spring Green, about a 20 minute drive.
Beautiful, peaceful setting. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and fished. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was beautiful. Lots of birds to watch. Enjoyed the basement games in the evenings. Loved our stay.
We were in town for a wedding, and it was a really nice place for all of the family to stay. Enjoyed the deck and dock as well as having a kitchen was nice to cook family meals!
We are a group of old friends who come annually to se plays at the American Players Theater and enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin landscape. Kayaking the river in front of the property was beautiful and a special treat.
We really enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed kayaking on lake and looking for turtles from the deck in the evenings. There was plenty of comfortable deck furniture, and my mother even had me look into ordering the lower patio lounge chairs for her at home. The kitchen had everything we need for meals. The ping pong table and games were fun and I now have to get the monopoly deal card game for at home as well. The wall A/C unit worked great and even with temps in the 90s we all slept great. The bedding was very soft and there were a bunch of comfortable throws around the house if you ever got the chills. My brother's dog loved the place (city apartment dog) and enjoyed his first campfire. The beach just down the road at the campsite was nice as well and had life vests for borrowing. My uncle was jealous that he didn't come with when we told him about the larger fish we saw jumping in the lake. There were also plenty of birds if you like bird watching. We went to see House on the Rock, Taliesin (ages 8 only) and went tubing down the Wisconsin River (dogs need to be in canoes if using Wisconsin Riverside Resort). Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and even though there are neighbors, we couldn't see (trees) or hear anyone else from the deck and so it felt very private.
We had a great time at this location! Water is nice, kids swam and used the kayaks for hours! Super quiet and LOTS of wildlife to view from the deck. Would stay again!!!
Top notch rental home with all the amenities and entertainment a family or couple could ask for! The house was so clean and the location was perfect. We spent our mornings out on the kayaks and evenings playing games or sitting by a fire. Love this home!
A really fun place to stay for a short getaway with friends and a toddler. We enjoyed the amazing game room, the hammock, the deck, and the view of the lake. The place is decorated super cute and with very comfy and homey bedrooms. The host was easy to reach and great to communicate with. Thank you!
We had a blast and loved the small town atmosphere. The local pub was a great stop on our way between golf courses and was well worth the price and company! We will be staying here again.
Our host was a great communicator and very responsive. The house decor was cute. Our kids appreciated the games in the basement and the record player in the living room. We made several meals and the kitchen was well stocked (except for salt—we never did find the salt). The view of the little lake behind the cabin was beautiful too. We had a comfortable stay, just 30 minutes from House on the Rock and Taliesin.
Very nice, well equipped, beautiful decor. Loved our family vacation together with something for everyone to do. We had ages 3 to 67 and all in between. Loved, Loved, Loved it!!!
