This property was acceptable but not quite what we expected. It appeared to be an old farmhouse with several additions poorly planned. The main living area smelled musty and contained several pieces of uncomfortable furniture. The bathroom was tiny to say the least with an equally tiny shower. Another private residence was attached to the VBRO house and separated by a locked door. The living room and bedrooms appeared clean on the surface, but were anything but behind and under the furniture. The only room that was clean and well stocked with cooking and baking supplies was the kitchen. The grounds were nice and save for some weeds, were adequately maintained. The house was listed as pet-friendly. Our dog, although very friendly to people does not care for other dogs. If we had known that a neighbor had 2 friendly to everything dogs, we would have left ours home of looked elsewhere.

I am sorry you did not find my home up to your standards. Maybe this was why you left your mess and piles of dog hair everywhere. Another reasons why i do not let dogs stay. I do not post dog friendly.
Yes the host was welcoming, extremely helpful, responded immediately for our questions. She left helpful information about the area. The place was warm and cozy and very clean.
The cabin was wonderful, quaintly decorated and homey. Everything was in place and easy to find, we could focus on our good times.Waylon and Star were fabulous "dogs away from home" too.

It was like we were home and didn’t want to leave and Mrs Gail was the most wonderful person you could talk too our only goal is to return again we have decided to make a tradition to at least go there two times a year I would recommend this place to everyone who needs a rest
From the first time walking in, I felt like I had come home. Peaceful,,& just plain wonderful. Gail is a wonderful host. Everything was neat and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Lovey, remote property that is close to all the attractions in this area, including Jasper and the rivers. House is comfortable and clean, fully stocked. A good place to relax. Really enjoyed it.

Was a pleasure to have Cheryl and husband stay with us. They are welcome back any time. Thanks
Occasional highway noise was the only clue there was civilization at the end of the driveway. A large historic rustic cabin with most modern conveniences. Perfect getaway.
Our stay was wonderful. Gail went way beyond . Very kind people in Jasper, Arkansas. The scenery was amazing. Definitely worth checking this rental out.
