Quiet location. Not walking distance to anything. Because of the storms, lots of ants. No flashlights for emergencies. Roomy enough for 4. We enjoyed our stay.

Aloha Alison,
Mahalo for your feedback and for staying with us at Mauna Loa Village. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the quiet location and had a comfortable stay overall.
We appreciate you bringing up the concerns regarding the ants and the lack of emergency flashlights. Weather conditions can sometimes contribute to pest activity, but we’ll be sure to follow up with our team to address this and improve preparedness for future guests.
Thank you again for your valuable input, it helps us continue to improve. We hope to welcome you back for an even better experience on your next visit to the Big Island!
Mahalo,
The unit was clean and has all that you would need to feel at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cooking pots to cook anything you want. This alone saved a LOT of money from going out each night for several nights. We each took our turn making our favorite dish. It was a short walk to the boat that took us snorkeling and the farmer’s market. They were very accommodating with our request for an early checkin which was a huge relief as our flights were the first one in and first one out. The only thing that confused me was that they listed two kings. We got there and there were two twins in one bedroom. Otherwise, everything was great!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and all of the great amenities this unit has to offer. We sent out a text message regarding the twin beds being made into a king bed upon request. Sorry if that got missed somehow. Mahalo once again for choosing Casago Kona LLC and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Mauna Loa is dated. Outside of building needs to be washed and some buildings need paint. Our unit needed a good cleaning. Bathtubs were both dirty. Lanai was dirty so we vacuumed both of them. Lint filter on dryer needs to be replaced. No cover on doorbell. Under couch there were plastic silverware and dirt. However, owner has several nice items to help with your visit.
