A short ¾ mile walk on a path through the national seashore woods brings you to beautiful, crystal clear, sandy bottomed Gull Pond and if you are to explore further, there are many other ponds back in the woods. You can even hike to the beach on the paths through the woods of Wellfleet and Truro! The national seashore beaches (Newcomb Hollow, Cahoon Hollow, White Crest, LeCount Hollow), Gull Pond Landing, Wellfleet Center and Wellfleet Harbor are all less than 3 miles away. If you love biking, this area offers scenic routes all the way to Provincetown.
