Experience the allure of historic Savannah from this street-level one bedroom, one bathroom retreat, conveniently located adjacent to Chippewa Square. Immerse yourself in modern comfort and style with recent updates that ensure a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after exploring the city's delights.
The Space:
Located in the historic Murphy house, originally built in the 1820s for three "spinster" sisters before being acquired by the esteemed French artist, Murphy, who resided here for nearly a century. Their works can be found all around Savannah in various museums.
Your private entrance awaits just left of the main building, offering street-level access to a spacious open room blending living, dining, and kitchen areas seamlessly. Relax by the large fireplace while catching up on your favorite shows on the smart TV, or unwind on the oversized sofa, which doubles as a queen-size sleeper for additional guests.
The well-appointed kitchen boasts a full appliance package, including a coffee maker, along with pots, pans, and dishware for your culinary endeavors. Conveniently tucked away on the right side, a stacked washer and dryer ensure hassle-free laundry access during your stay.
Down the hallway, discover the cozy primary bedroom featuring a comfortable queen mattress adorned with fresh linens, alongside a generous closet providing ample storage space for extended visits. The adjacent bathroom showcases custom tile work, a low-entry shower, and a single vanity stocked with essentials like towels, shampoo, and body wash.

History abounds with sites like Harper Fowlkes House, Savannah Theatre, Telfair Museums, Beach Institute of African American Culture, and many more. Enjoy one of our favorite casual restaurants, Fire Street Food, as your neighbor, featuring excellent Asian-American dishes with a modern flare.
Excite your taste buds with the many excellent restaurants all a stone’s throw from the apartment. Grab incredible southern dishes at the highly-rated Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room. Craving a diner? Are you driving into town? There are no parking spaces directly available outside the unit. Still, you can park your vehicle at the Liberty Parking deck just minutes away and enjoy easy transit and walking for the remainder of your stay!
Circling the downtown, you will see Old Town Trolleys, a great way to get around. Get in touch with us to receive your DISCOUNTED ticket. A free trolley-style City transport bus called the "DOT Shuttle" also picks up and will make a loop around the Historic District. The closest stop for this one is just a block down the street at the corner of Drayton & Perry!
Want more options? Download the city’s local version of Uber called “The Downtowner.” Simply download the app, and they will pick you up for free!
